@@chuckmorton8823The Iron Dome is a missile defense system. Nearly all the Israeli casualties were from the ground incursion. In regards to the paragliders, the system isn't meant to intercept such targets.

Just remember parts of the intercepted rockets will be falling down directly under where they are blown up. Please be careful it takes about five minutes to hit the ground after interception.

A so called Iron Dome is easily defeated by sheer volume as shown by the success rate of firing 2200 missiles. A false sense of security leads to a lack of preparedness.

The incompressible thing about modern warfare is just how much it costs. Each of those rockets and missiles cost 10s and 100s of thousands of dollars. Imagine blowing up cash in the skies. To think that these same nations won’t spend these monies on the less privileged in their society is mind boggling.
I mean, if they had spent that money on the less privileged in their society, they'd be dead now. Caring for the poor is a privilege that must come only after you obtain the means of surviving at all.

I am curious why Israel defence is not trying to target the rocket stations, given the fact one can even see where they are launched visually from the smoke trails. Drones should be able to actively target them quickly and launch ASMs at them within 2 mins of locating the launch sites.
They are. That's why jets fly past immediately after the rockets are intercepted.
But it’s also kind of difficult, they use meat shields in the form of schools and house to store missiles
