A little bit about me..
Rebecca is a passionate Singer-Songwriter/Vocal coach/mentor /impressionist/photographer/creative junkie /self- development lover not a hater.
“I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well, maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2016. However, despite not being able to walk for a few weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and try to practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…we are all specks of dust…Also, thank you for all your support. It means a lot. I have suffered from anxiety from the past and self-confidence, (yeah hard to see now right) didn’t think I was ‘good, or worthy enough’ but I feel I have a new lease of life, don’t really care as much and want to show you guys what I have! : ) You are all awesome and without you, there would be no channel.
I will forever shout to the world that Kelly Clarkson is one of the greatest vocalists of all time!
It's sad that Kelly Clarkson is so underrated because she's not the cookie cutter skinny little diva. But I tell you she's probably the nicest person on this entire Earth.

@M 40 It's relative. Yes she is appreciated but compared to the attention showered on lesser singers..she is underappreciated. Generally spealing..if Kelly knocks a year's hits medley out of the park Live it doesn't hit the entertainment news nearly as much as when Beyonce farts.
It’s hard cause it’s not like she is completely underrated. She’s hugely successful but I agree she doesn’t get the credit from t how good she is.
Here I am in 2022. They toured together awhile back performing at smaller venues and not a bigger major stadiums. Now she’s paid millions to coach on the Voice and has her own show. As a mother with young children I think she has the best of both world. She will have a long career doing what she wants and loves.
Kelly Clarkson is cut from the same cloth as Aretha, Whitney, and Mariah; she is the best singer of our generation!
I genuinely think we should put Kelly Clarkson on the same level of respect that we have for Mariah, Celine and Whitney. Kelly is an incredible vocalist and is so underrated nowadays. Her voice is beautiful, consistent (has she ever had a questionable vocal?) and controlled. Go Kelly!!!

I put her on the same level as Patsy Cline. To tell you what a high compliment that is, Patsy's is my favorite singing voice of all time. There's a depth, or a richness of tone....I don't know how to explain it. But it's something that I don't feel even Whitney had. (Whitney was the most talented powerhouse singer of her generation. I give her all due respect. Please don't come for me.) Patsy and Kelly both have that richness. Their voices are like velvet.

IMO, she is the best vocalist ever. She is so humble and kind. She puts others first. She sings other people's songs like they are her songs. She puts everything into every song she sings, even if she's sick. She is a one of a kind.

I'm not a pop music fan AT ALL. My preferences lie with the metal and old school hard rock or classic rock domains. I will come clean and admit that I have always enjoyed Kelly's work. She's got a true talent.

Im not a professional. I just love to sing ( off key, of course). However. I get chills and emotional as well when i listen to this song. I'm a big fan of Kelly Clarkson and the Pentatonix. Hearing talented singers who can harmonize and stand out gives me chills and sometimes brings me to tears, so it was amazing to me that as i watched your reactions to their beautiful voices, i felt those same emotions and it touched my heart. Music is my calm place when i am sad, stressed, or have a panic attack. Merry Christmas!

I always called her "leather lungs powerhouse". Like you stated, Kelly was borned and blessed with that voice. She is underrated in my book. With total respect to Kelly, I think because of her weight fluctuation, that senseless issue has kept Kelly from lots of things she"s entitled to, IMO!!! Kelly is one of those naturally gifted singers, like Mariah, Whitney and Celine. They don’t need to go to school to learn how to sing.

I saw Kelly Clarkson on tour with Pentatonix and they did some collabs.....It was honestly just one of the two best live shows I've seen, where the second one was Paramore. It was amazing. Kelly Clarkson is just so talented and so real.

Kelly Clarkson Meaning of Life Nashville sessions is amazing.
The most emotional performance I've seen from Kelly (a ready supply of tissues are pretty much a requirement) was on the final season of American Idol, when she sang Piece By Piece. Between her being so heavily pregnant, and the painful subject matter of the song, it's so incredibly powerful. And kudos to the pianist when she falters and collects herself. Highly recommended.
Kelly is my favorite singer! You should react to her cover of I Know You Won‘t. This will get you goosebumps all over!

Humble, funny, kind and blessed by the angels with a wonderful voice coupled with fabulous technique and emotion. Her voice has gotten better with time.

Kelly was trained in opera which she gives a lot of credit. She grew up without but got scholarships because of her talent. On AI she always had her a hand on her stomach most likely to focus on her breathe control (I’m a gymnast not a singer but I love Kelly 😄)

Kelly is absolutely world class and one of the best ever. The difficulty for her when compared to icons like Whitney, Celine, and Mariah is that she doesn’t have the strongest catalog and she never really dominated the charts. Probably most importantly she doesn’t have that signature song like “I Will Always Love You”, “My Heart Will Go On”, or “All I Want For Christmas Is You”. Or even secondary signature songs like “Greatest Love Of All”, “All By Myself” or “Hero”. I think if she had been asked to be the original artist on “Never Enough” from THe Greatest Showman that song would have gotten so much more attention and really stamped Kelly as a master vocalist. Don’t get me wrong. Loren Allred's version is absolutely world class and she deserves to be rewarded and awarded accordingly but she was only known for losing on The Voice prior.
I think Kelly's catalog has some pretty iconic songs - Because Of You, Since U Been Gone, Behind These Hazel Eyes, A Moment Like This, Breakaway, Already Gone, Stronger, My Life Would Suck Without You, Don't You Wanna Stay.
Lupin788 not trying to come off as crass but I’m not sure you know what a “signature” song or even an iconic song is. The closest might be Because Of You. But it doesn’t touch any of the six songs I mentioned in my OP.

I am using this review of one Kelly Clarkson song to, hopefully get you to review another one of hers. When you did Evanescence, I mentioned Pat Benatar and as far as I am concerned those are the two ladies of rock in the US. That is with the exception of Lita Ford (who is more of a guitarist than a vocalist) and one song by Kelly Clarkson, Behind These Hazel Eyes. Even though this song is sung by a woman, as a man, I have felt these emotions from the other side. It is deep and powerful and I wondered why it had a heavier edge than most of her stuff. Easy. The guitarist for Evanescence (Ben Moody) left and joined Kelly Clarkson’s band for her debut, and he wrote most of the music, including this song. While I’m at it could you do, It’s Not Over, Feels Like Tonight, Home, or Used To by Daughtry? Chris Daughtry is the only other vocalist I could stand on American Idol. And Yes, Kelly Clarkson was the first winner on the show.
Rebecca, you have to watch all the Pentatonix Video (or almost) . You *have to*. This is not the only collaboration with Kelly. They did a tour together. Years ago. A big hug from Italy and Happy Christmas.

Hey Rebecca!! I have watched most of your videos but this is the first time I have commented. I just wanted to say that I love your reactions. Even though I am more of a musician than a singer I enjoy watching others who have a real passion for music. I don't really listen to many of the artists you react to but I think it is actually a good thing since I can be re-exposed to them from a new perspective.
