If your a tattoo artist and had knowledge even a little in electronics the positive is connecting in the center of the male plug and you can follow the line of the clipcord and see where is the positive and the negative located and put a mark on it. How much more if your only the one who made the clipcord, i'm sure that you are pretty sure where is the positive and the negstive. :)
