- Through the years, several different watches in Omega’s collection have carried the name Cosmic.
But in todays video we not talking about the late 60’s, early 70’s Seamaster Cosmics and Cosmic 2000s. We gonna talk about the triple calendar moonphase versions from the late 1940’s.

Great video! You have one of the best vintage watch channels on TH-cam. Thank you for the excellent content. Love the watch. I'm on the hunt for one or a Record Datofix.
Thanks a bunch man!! Good luck for your hunt!
The hunt is the fun part! Thanks
Couldn’t say it any better :D
fantastic review- thank you!
Thanks for your kind feedback!
Interesting vid, much thanks gents.
Thanks for your feedback! We’re glad you like it 👍
Бомба! Эти невидимые кнопки в корпусе - вообще дым👍 Спасибо за ролик.
Much appreciated 👌🙏
Thanks Felix, well explained
Thank you so much 🤘
This watch with a black dial is a beauty
Completely agree! A killer watch. Especially with a gold case and bracelet ♥️
Thanks so much for this video. My favourite watch and it’s very difficult to find any information on this model. I have seen some Persian editions sell for 6 figures. Do you know why they are special?
Thanks so much!! Persian editions are veeeery rare & the case comes in 37mm ( not 35). And the pieces you’ll find for 6 figures are in perfect condition, what’s even more rare :-)
Thanks for the video - but the one with the silver hands is obviously a redial and the hand size is incorrect :-)
You’re right :)
Wait. Why is the Rolex astronomic three exact same watch also?
You can find this dial layout with the moonphase complication on many watch brands - like Movado , Rolex, Jaeger LeCoultre, Patek & even Breitling :)
@@GoldammerVintageWatches Oh wow. This similar? But how come? All from the same era? I see new Patek's also with a similar layout, but the Omega and Rolex dials are nearly identical! :)
No idea why :D but it’s typical for 20th century watchmaking. One company developed something completely new & other brands simply taken it over.
Non ha spiegato se è un calendario semplice o complicato (il mese si muove?). Sono tutti a carica manuale? Il mio è automatico
English?
@@GoldammerVintageWatches He didn't explain whether it's a simple or complicated calendar (does the month move?). Are they all hand-wound? Mine is automatic
Did they ever make them in case size 32mm?
Yes 🙌
Can some one point me to the direction of some one who can tell me more of this watch. Long story short. I was remodeling a house, I had to tear this counter top off .when I did part of the wall came off and when. I tore it. A the bottom of the inside of the wall I found a watch. Had it for 4 years.
