An excellent summary of all that was best about the early Breitlings. An elegant high-quality case, an uncluttered, understated dial layout, and great shots of the beautiful Venus 188 which I think was the best of the non-column wheel movements. I have just the one Breitling, a Mk1 Top Time 810 with Venus 178 movement.
Nice video, but I should point out that there were dozens of European companies making chronographs of similar design and quality using Venus, Landeron and Valjoux hand-wound movements from the 1930s to the 1970s. And they are a lot cheaper on eBay today than Breitlings, but just as good.
The new Breitling vintage inspired Premier watches are excellent too. I own a Breitling B09 which seems to pay homage to a lot of design elements from these watches. A much cleaner and classier aesthetic than a lot of their gaudier modern designs.
Great video Felix! I’m still looking to add a Breitling to my collection. Why has the st.steel one here got gold hands and markers? I have a few watches like this, I find it weird that they mix materials, do you know why? Is it just fashion? I’ve just subscribes so I can follow you!

We couldn’t agree more! Not to forget the beautiful Breitling logo. We just love the cursive font back in the day! Have a great day 🙏

Yes absolutely correct! Nevertheless, it was breitling who gave the chronograph the face we know today
Great video, same as the others. Just don't stop to make videos, don't let small number od views discourege you.
Thank you very much! Means a lot to us. We don’t care about the small number of views 😊🙏
@@GoldammerVintageWatches Happy to "hear" that: :)
Fly on the wings of BREITLING!
Fly wie Adler 🦅
The first wristwatch chrono with pusher on the left up? Invicta produced one in early 1930’s
On the right above the crown in the 1915s. Or what do you mean exactly?
@@GoldammerVintageWatches oh, that is earlier. I was hearing 1950’s. 😂😂😂😊
Haha 😆 ✌️
amazing!
Thanks kindly!!!

They really surprised us with this design. We hope the brand gets it ass back on track.

Sometimes it’s to match the hourmarker or numerals, sometimes the original steel ones have replaced for some reason into gold ones
Muverans is the name in the chronograph watch I have, anyone recognize the name?
What does men Breiting? Is it just a name?
Thank you.
The founders name was Leon Breitling. It has no specific meaning in the Swiss or German language.
