8 am for yall in Bondi (it looks beautiful I would love to live there) it’s 8PM for me 😭
I literally I love watching Bondi
They should only let a certain number of people on the beach every day. That would help tremendously! I'm sure the lifeguards are overwhelmed!
I’m early!
I would like to say a big "Thank You" to all the Bondi camera crew.
Many times u have stepped in to help keep people afloat till the lifeguards can reach them.
You are all legends❤
I agree, the Bondi Rescue camera crew are amazing.
It's the only fly on the wall reality show I've ever seen that happen in.
Ong
FACTS!!! Their camera/sound team is incredible!
Totally agree 👍
25:07 the cameraman stepping in warmed my heart❤reassuring the guy “you’re alright” and giving support until the guard got there was nice to see!
"The wee fat one" and then her face when she realized what she said out loud. * chuckle * Bless her heart.
we seem to be glossing over that guy who sorted out his own dislocated finger what a CHAMP
right?? my jaw dropped!!
yeah that was so gross!!
Yeah, that super brave
He had no choice but STILL how brave I couldn’t do that😂
My husband did that but with his foot 😂 however my husband is a doctor he has knowledge 😊
the kid who dragged their friend out of the water during the asthma attack saved her. well done.
Are you talking about the first girl she was being dramatic taking the life guard’s attention from real dangers
@@kaineboyd8376 oh i didn’t see that part
@@kaineboyd8376 looked more like a panic attack, people do have those with an adrenaline rush after a scare like that.
No, there was one lady taken off to hospital, they think she almost drowned, taken off for tests.
Not the obvious view at all
That poor homeless guy. His family must be just heartbroken. He’s a good looking guy with mental health issues. I hope he recovers and gets the help he so desperately needs 💕
There are people who prefer to be homeless, believe it or not. He was wearing a new pair of Doc Martens, so it's possible someone is looking out for him.
Mental health problems and homelessness are SO heartbreaking when the guy is good looking.
@@heidikickhouse- that is such a strange thing to say
@@CarolineismightyfineHeidi is making a very good point: OP pointing out that he’s good looking is what’s weird. Like how he looks makes a difference to how heartbreaking his situation is…
@@Plxxew they’re saying the same thing and both of them are weird lol
"No, it's ok, I'm from California"
"I can tell."
😂
Because that makes it ok lol. I'll just go play with rattlesnakes and black widows in California, because I'm Australian and know what I'm doing. 🤔
As a specialized pool facility lifeguard I always am shocked at how much beach lifeguards have to go through and deal with. Like we get our fair share of just truly bizarre stuff but beach lifeguard really have my respect😅 LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!!
Absolutely! 🌊👏 Mad respect to all lifeguards out there, pool or beach! It's amazing how much they handle with such grace. We're thrilled you love the show!
same! I thought I got some weird situations at my pool and then I watch BR and go to work going “oh wow this was nothing” 😭
What advice would you give to someone that cant swim ive tried to swim but i keep sinking to the bottom 😞 i love watching this show ❤ love from denmark 🎉
@@zarahrosechristensen7384 When you’re swimming your arms are a lot more important than your legs. If you kick your legs a lot, you’ll make yourself really tired without going very far. The other thing is that you have to stay relaxed as much as you can.
@@mdurham2137 thankyou so much for your advice i will try do swimming lessons and let you know how it went ☺️
🤣🤣 24:40 Internet Cameraman yet again being an absolute boss of a super human and just doing anything he feels like. Like just casually being able to help that man with no aid and film at the same time.
Leaving a 4 year old to go for a walk is INSANE
Not to mention, downright irresponsible. Responsible family members, especially parents, wouldn't leave any under-16s on their own if they left the house, let alone on a strange foreign beach with god only knows who around the child on his or her own.
I’m all for giving children some independence and responsibility but not 4 year olds on the edge of the ocean!
I know he’s four but jeez the behavior as well. I’ve dealt with kids and even when scared they don’t lash out. No wonder.
Right?! My child is 6 and I literally follow him with my eyes right up until he's back next to me..
@@hollandsemum1 🙁 this is exactly why parents have to be careful what they say and do. A passing moment to them can be a life time of sad memory to the child.
idk why the massive crowds around the injured people bother me so much but if there was a massive crowd around me while I was severely injured on the beach I think I’d rather die than have to sit there and let them watch
People are nosey unfortunately!
What do you mean idk why? It's normal to feel that way, they're too nosy and they're a nuisance. Even worse when they film. There are tons of people who are completely unaware of how inappropriate they're being.
@@Maialeen yeah i agree, like if im sitting there ble3ding out or something, the last thing i want is it being filmed by people ive probably never met like let me di3 in peace people
Believe me if you need help, you don’t care about other people.😊
@@Maialeen It's disgusting how people think standing around watching is ok. Crowds are noisy and have to be a hindrance for the life guards.
Who leaves a 4 yo to 'go for a walk'? You take them with you or stay there. Some people don't deserve children.
Every once in a while i think about how durring my lifeguard training they showed Bondi clips and I go back and watch a bunch. Keep it up!
Bondi's got that special lifeguard charm, right?
they showed us a few episodes at EMT training as well
As a former lifeguard I admire these guys and what they do on such a long stretch of beach in the searing heat, it's mind blowing. My biggest gripe when I was in the job was the amount of people gathering round when an incident occurred trying to chip in advice as if I wasn't trained for it. Just making the situation so much worse. Keep it up Bondi, absolute heroes.
@@megacody1018 It's worse now. They gather around and start filming.
What a contrast between Zack, who got natural consequences and learned from it, and the kid who got so outraged being told the rules apply to him. 😮
The second guy was full of ego and pride... Some of the worst traits ever. Never has any benefit,, just makes people hate you.
@@kerryh3833100% absolutely true.. and those start with insecurities
@@captainfoxheart Not always, some are taught that rules don't apply to them.
I feel bad for the homeless man. He lays there with severe burns for 2 days and people assume maybe hes faking it.? I dont think most fakers would put two days in it.
So sad that Ben is a local and people see him around and know he has nothing and people still treat him that way to where he didn't think he should ask for help because he didn't think he mattered. He matters
I'm not gonna lie.. If my partner pushed a child off a board during panicking, I think I'd leave them!! I don't think I could handle being with someone who I know prioritises themselves so strongly in a desparate situation...
I agree with what you say,I would have reported him for pushing the boy off his board to the lifegaurds .What happened to Kerrbox?I haven't seen him at all in the last 3 seasons.
@@BrianKitching-wv5nh It says he went to court for stalking and intimation (of his ex, I believe) in 2019 so I don't know if that was the end of his tv appearances..
It's amazing what a fight, flight or freeze panic reactions can do to you. in that exact moment I guarantee you he wasn't thinking clearly at all, much less registering that he was putting that kid in danger. There's a reason why it is considered dangerous to try and help a struggling drowning person. because in their moment of panic to stay above the water they might grab and push YOU down. It's not an active decision its instinct.
Depends, in a state of complete panick you are not thinking right at all
Dangerous situations show people for what they are. I've had eye-opening experiences. But I will say from experience panicked people are dangerous to everyone around them.
they are the definition of ‘the cameraman never dies’ 😭
AHHH PFP TWIN
TWINN
"go one handcuff me" then gets surprised and angry when they handcuff him
I absolutely love the ocean and going at the beach , but one that's crowded like that... No I'd rather sit back home , I get anxiety just seeing it in the video , it's insane
Bondi beach looks really nice, but I wouldn't want to ever go during busy season. Way to many people.
I agree,Bondi Beach does look really nice,I am disabled and cannot travel,I hope you make it there one day.
That poor kid. I knew he was speaking Korean, but I couldn't tell poor Harries that! xD
It's no wonder they train so incredibly hard! Back to back rescues like that must be exhausting!
And overwhelming!
Yall should have like tons more lifeguards! That's such a huge beach. I bet you guys are always having anxiety about missing something.
I would 😅 props to you guys! ♡♡♡
There are more lifeguards and volunteer rescuers there, they just don't film them because not all of them want to be filmed. I promise you they don't have just a couple handfuls of guys managing many thousands of people at a time-THAT would be chaotic! 😂
@ThatTaRaGiRL I was honestly thinking they did and they kept their cool very well 🤣😅🤣
Rest assured, our dedicated team is always on high alert to ensure everyone's well-being.
@@ThatTaRaGiRL (1:16:35) Hoppo says "6000" people per lifeguard.
All the people who CANNOT SWIM NEED TO SERIOUSLY LEARN HOW TO FREAKING SWIM BEFORE GETTING INTO THE OCEAN !! YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW DANGEROUS IT IS !!!
Or learn and maybe go to a pool or the kiddie area they showed at one point😂
A polyglot or 5 would definitively be valuable team players in dealing with an international beach like that, and I bet that they would love that kind of work.
And who is gonna pay them for their work?
I was thinking, and no disrespect intended, but they should hire a Chinese speaker
@@orbita1 And Korean, Japanese, Malaysian? Too many languages.
These lifeguards have so much to do & watch at all times. Also Cant believe that guy was in the cave for 2 days with a broken leg. So glad someone found him.
Suggestion- put some decoy bags with AirTags in them on the beach (make sure you can lock up the bags.) Makes the decoy more appealing. Then track the device to the stash
Oooo That is a brilliant idea 🎉
What Sickens me is parents that do not stay with their kids at all times! If our beaches are ever this crowded, our now 6yo girl always has to be holding one of our hands. We have always enforced this.
Also, Bondi cannot have only 8 lifeguards for 20,000 Beach goers. It is not fair to the life guards who are responsible for every life on the beach. This takes a toll on their mental health.
They should announce to all public on the beach, that if they go into the water and become tired, turn to their backs to attempt to rest. We should all be grateful for the lifeguards, volunteer lifeguards, and the surfers who risk their lives to help all those struggling in the sea.
I also think this is dependent on the child’s ability. I’ve lived in Florida since I was two at 6 I was allowed to go in the water by myself with my parents on the shore even on busy days. But I was a fairly skilled swimmer at that age and knew not to go past a certain point which is definitely not something you could do with every kid. My parents were of course keeping an eye on me but they weren’t holding my hand the entire time either.
Noone has mentioned that Ben has the most amazing eyes. A wealth of emotions and experiences behind a sea of blue. I hope he is still around and ok.
Watching them save that kid from Korea was absolutely impressive. No words.
As an American its so cool to watch people at the beach on Xmas!
Uh you can go to the beach in America during Christmas…….
It just depends on the state due to weather
I’d rather have snow on Christmas.
Just come to Florida and you can experience beach on Christmas in America
I generally thought he said “he’s illegally blind” 😂😂😂😂
Lesson of the day. Don't travel overseas without travel insurance. If you can't afford the insurance, don't go.
how much can travel insurance cost? i’ve never heard anyone talk about that (any global perspective). it was honestly surprisingly dirt cheap for me as a european to upgrade my EU health insurance to an ‘EU *including the USA* insurance’
I think the most I paid was £50 for 2 months travel insurance including coverage for scuba diving and hyperbaric chamber needs, and I’ve paid maybe £30
for a weeks coverage for snowboarding with heli rescue included.
I can’t imagine coverage for surfing would be more than that
Just found this channel today and love it, binge watching 😁 These lifeguards are awesome people, real life heroes. The runaway dog is beautiful. To all of these individuals I send best wishes and gratitude, from Britain 👍👍🇦🇺🇬🇧

Same! Just found this show because I binge EMS channels. Nothing but love for these heros! 💖
My favorite thing is when belligerent people get arrested!
"some sort of weird stroke that I havent heard of" LOL that was good. 25:50
As a person from California I found it so funny when delivered said I know when he said I’m from California
I think some people really don't realise they have accents... The moment you step away from your home town, I can assure everyone, you all have one 😅😅
@@kerryh3833I thought he was referring to how badly he swims
@heythere5817 yes I think he was
Left a 4 year old playing on the water's edge so she could go for a walk. Why weren't police called?
Only ten lifeguards for that many people is crazy.
I agree, only 10 lifegaurds for that many people is crazy, they should have double that amount.
What still more crazy it's how so many people's going to the same beach ; when they're another's very nice around nearby .
@@michelleduvois2755It's partly about reputation. Bondi beach is a famous beach which has been a target for many tourists for decades.
Poor Ben I'm so glad you guys take care of him I wish I could help
Looking back at those old phones I’d say this was filmed around the mid to late 2000’s.
Awesome show and absolutely loving it. 😂
These lifegaurds never fail to impress everyone. They are true heroes.
I don't see the fun of going to such a crowded place😮
110.37- Love Arnold bless him, great magic tricks and comes across as a lovely guy and clearly has a wonderful mum 😁❤️❤️ 🇦🇺🇬🇧
Wishing someday I could visit this beautiful beach and country
There’s sooooo many people there! Those guards are hero’s.
Ben has got the most amazing eyes, I hope his burns were all ok and his leg is all fixed up.

Hi Bondi Rescue,I am from the U.K, what I would like to know is,what is most popular on Christmas day BBQ'S OR TRADITIONAL DINNERS?BEEN FROM THE UK WE ONLY DO CHRISTMAS DINNER.
the lost kid was so adorable 😢
I’m sure you life guards get lots of praise for all you do so I will be another and tell you guys you do a very awsome job. Only the best to you from U.S. Alabama ❤
All lifeguards have my respect! Keep up the fantastic work!
Bondi camera man needs a shout out like for real
Hahah that korean kid was NOT having any of it 😅 poor thing.. but it's so funny when he just goes of when the LG tries to calm him down, they men are so lost 😅😅😅😂😂😂
From Thailand&Germany🇹🇭🇩🇪 I love Bondi🥰
The tick one cracked me up. Is that normal in Australia for that much fear around ticks? Here in America you just pull them out. 😅
It’s very understandable how annoying it was for the Professional Life Guards when the volunteer guys hit the shark alarm ‼️
Just cant get over this is fun for people on this ridiculoysly overcrowded beach
People need to know not to swim vertically when caught in a rip, swim horizontally itll give you the best chance bc u wont be fighting the water
Little Sungwook's mommy is raising a spoiled monster. That kid wasn't afraid, he was _furious._ I'm sure he rules his household like a tyrant.
You're kidding, right? The kid is like 3 years old and was clearly terrified, but yeah sure, I'm sure the toddler who doesn't speak any English who got lost in a foreign country on a beach with 30,000+ people is just being a brat 🙄
@@yesnonotexactly25 There's a difference between being terrified and being emboldened enough to throw things at strangers---not just once, but repeatedly. That kid is a monster. Your bleeding heart is lovely, I'm sure, but that child is over-indulged and spoiled, and he wasn't just afraid, he was ANGRY that his support staff aka mother wasn't around for him. I'm sure you're a font of parenting knowledge, but having raised two successful adults, I stand by what I said. You are welcome to feel as upset by that as you wish.
@@yesnonotexactly25 Also, your Ayn Rand username discredits you, so I understand why you would change it. How embarrassing for you.
I think the mom is the problem , like leaving your toddler alone in a beach with so many peoples seems like a red flag to me :/
It seems to me that little boy was saying "I don't know you!"
Love all your videos, you have a new fan from the UK.This is the real Baywatch.Loved the lifeguard playing Santa.
The rescue board camera is the real MVP 😂
I LOVE HOW THEY ALWAYS DUMP PEOPLE OFF THERE BOARDS😂
I appreciated the education about the ever changing beach floor and how it affects the ever changing landscape of the currents. I’d love to see and hear more of that. That’s Bondi’s greatest education factor!
I love watching Bondi rescue
This really makes me appreciate my solitary life
I don't know how much these lifeguards are paid but IT'S NOT ENOUGH for all they have to do and deal with !! And thousands of people !! NO WAY !!
37:50 I hate new years. If I'm not working, I'm almost always in bed before midnight.
Go Thomas you are a little hero
I don’t think I’ll ever get used to the idea ofchristmas in summer lol😂 I’m just always briefly confused
The 5 kids @14:50 def heard the warnings to get out of the water but chose to ignore them and almost unalived themselves and the lifeguard who risked his life to go in without gear. They were laughing when the lifeguards came as if it was a joke.
The hammerhead just chillin there😭
That homeless guy such a strikingly handsome man I sure hope that things have changed for him since this episode was viewed
Turning a dog over to the dog pound is not a happy ending.
😢 truth. Hopefully it was chipped or their dog pounds are different from America ❤
Harries is the last person to be in charge of an ill trained dog.
Id be much more interested in meeting H than any hilton.
❤ when I forget about this show for awhile then rediscover it! I forget how uplifting it is. Plus fit lifeguards.
Santa on the seadoo and the kids being excited were too cute!
Thomas is a hero!!! 💖 Lifeguards, Police & Camera people too! Sending love from Sarasota, Florida US! 😁
I actually think at some point at the scene with the teenage girl choking that i would have just screamed that all of these people should shut up and stuff it makes their job so much harder huge thank you for their work
It's nice to be important but more important to be nice
I live in Northern California. Christmas does not look like this. Not even at the beach! We often have snow.
Obviously not. Christmas is in the middle of our summer
I really like Australians. Me and my husband ran a cafe in the south west, UK and we always said they were the best customers. Even the crooks aren’t as bad as ours.
53:13 Bro went from getting a citation and released to an arrest and held because of his ego…this was just after watching his buddy get taken by paramedics and saying he won’t ever drink and swim again.
I have bin watching your videos for 6 years and thank you for your service.😁
Why do people just leave all their stuff on a crowded beach, go for a swim and then assume it's going to be there when they get back?
Cause that's the only option.
These lifegaurds are so great in what they do,i love Harries, he seems like a really kind caring type.I also know where he lives.
i love bondi rescue

wait i got a question for the aussie’s, here in canada it’s christmas dinner is the one where families get together, so is it more popular / normal for you to have a christmas lunch then a christmas dinner? i don’t know to me personally that sounds so odd but in a sense it doesn’t matter as long as you all are happy. love the videos keep up the work bondi life guards
G’day!
It kind of depends, some families will have dinner, some families will have lunch.
But I’d say lunch is most popular.
Always depends on the individuals of course, but almost everyone I know including my own family has Christmas lunch instead of dinner.
@@definiteb1ue Same here.
G'day! In Australia, Christmas lunch is a big tradition for many families, often followed by a relaxed dinner. The sunny weather makes it perfect for a festive BBQ too!
ahh cool, i’m in canada so we’re all bundled up inside trying to escape the cold, i’d find it so weird it being hot and no snow.
❤you guys rock. I just watched my first episode earlier today and now I am just hooked. I thought the scariest thing at the beach 🏖 and 🌊 ocean were sharks. I grew up watching Bay Watch and this is the real deal. Thank you and stay safe.
Life guards are sometimes else!
4:10 the guy that waved😂
Why don't people listen when the lifeguards tell them to go where they are not in danger lol
Congratulations on your precious baby boy William Eliot.
Those teens at 5:12 are life savers
$400 for an ambulance? Mine was $4,000 in the US! Not a helicopter, a regular bus. It's ridiculous here.
Free where I am in Aus. It's shocking to me that there's still some of our states that charge residents
honestly surprised i watched this whole but i did and its 2:45 in the morning
