Bondi Rescue follows the work of the elite professional Lifeguards who patrol Australia’s busiest beach. This is Australia’s real life Baywatch! Taking the viewers on their journey through mass rescues, drownings, resuscitations, shark sightings, and all number of the weird and wonderful experiences Bondi Beach dishes up.
In #BondiRescue the audience sees the action through the eyes of real characters and #lifeguards like Hoppo, Deano, Reidy, Jesse, Maxi, Whippet and Harries, as they catch thieves, perform CPR, make drug busts, break up fights, and even handle a navy bomb that washes ashore one afternoon. Every year throws up new and completely unexpected challenges, and how lifeguards adapt is what makes Bondi Rescue a show that’s about much more than swimmers being saved in the surf.

Surfers taking off 10 metres from this fella nearly drowning. Really surprised nobody paddled over to keep him up til rescue got to him.
I really appreciate he was so grateful and thanking the lifeguards so much. Some people they rescue are shockingly casual about it and don't seem to understand how serious the situation was for them.

Yeah the fact he was apologising considering that even though he was drowning he still did the right thing and made sure to keep his hand up for as long as possible so they could locate him

This happened years ago. Jethro left Bondi Rescue in 2022 as did many others. They were basically sacked due to covid mandates.

jefros accidents are always funny like locking him self in the tower getting the buggy stuck and beaching a jetske same day which the beaching caused a dislocation and "blowing out the roller door" by backing up into it god hes a rolling goof
it's been 3 years that i first time stumbled bondi beach rescue and i always visit this show, admire it so much that it's i really want to go in this beautiful beach and maybe meet with some of them. 😊

@@J-Rod91 it's not that they can't swim, it's more they severely overestimate their abilities. Swimming in the pool is very very different from swimming in the ocean
@@seasaltloverformer lifeguard here. Yeah I’ve seen people who didn’t know how to swim get themselves into serious trouble. It didn’t matter if it was in a pool or a natural body of water.
Some people dont mean to go that far but you can never trust the ocean you can probably be on a 2/3 ft of water and suddenly bam 6/7ft of water because some Beaches have sink holes in the sand and can be deep and sometime the water drag you father inside than out

Gonzo...she was seriously interested! She had that look in her eyes. Jennifer's mom could do a yelling contest with me...and THAT is impressive. I've had a naturally loud voice all my life...been a bane of my existence at times, but some times....sometimes it is vitally useful. ESPECIALLY when your child is missing...the panic in your voice makes it sharper and louder somehow.

Whenever I mention this show, people are like, "That's the beach were a lot of people drown, right?" and I'm like, no, people DON'T drown because the lifeguards do a fantastic job.
My Egyptian dad actually had an uncle die while saving his wife’s life. She was caught in a vortex and after he saved her, he was pulled under. Rip, uncle Samy
i think the girl who was swimming out really far is dealing with some sort of drug-issue, or mental health issue because she seemed way to erratic and in a delusional state/energized to be swimming so dangerously... I hope she's okay, mentally.

^ yah this is just highlights, it’s mostly normal stuff (though this is normal to me too at this point lol), but it’s still pretty great but check out the less popular city beaches too, not just bondi, tama, and bronte, but also other smaller ones like mona vale (my fav) or clovelly
@@Cassxowary I live about 2 hours away from Sydney so I’ve been to Bondi multiple times and I entirely agree, the less touristy beaches are a lot more enjoyable.

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest in California where you don’t really go out into the ocean for fear of rip tides.
The first thing most people do when they realize the waves are winning, is completely panic. You didn’t.
