Beckski93 and SmoothOperative are my fav Tomb Raider runners! As someone who loves the classic Tomb Raider games but can't play through them, namely because of tank controls, I really appreciate seeing how skillful they are at them, great run!
Man, I know they were limited by the textures and poly-counts available, but the devs did such a fantastic job animating Lara. I think it's part of why it's so fun to watch runners flip and skip their way through the classic games. Super fun run! Thank you!
Beckski saying they uped the difficulty for this game makes me happy, why? This was the first TR as a kid and I never finished it because it was too hard haha Also I tried to jump up on the leafs in the first level I guess my kid brain wanted speedrun strats lol
this run was SO fun!! i loved speedruns of glitchy games, and this run was absolutely full of them. the nonchalance she had in her voice while doing the wildest shit i've ever seen was just delightful
I miss original Lara Croft. I enjoyed the reboot but pales compared the original. At least Legend and Anniversary had the right idea but was still lacking. Some Devs need to bring back original Lara! Please!! Or at minimum a remake of all original Tomb Raider's
TR1 was a masterpiece, the setting, the music, the first one and i defeated it completely. It had it flaws if you look add it today but than omg i was perfect. Magical TR2 i could defeat cause i was still hyped on TR1 and had some skills. I loved the new weapons but i hated the "non-temple and underwater" environements. Was artificaly made more difficult. TR3 i lend from a friend but i did not got passed level 3 or something. Way to hard, no enjoyable exploration. I think i played house level more than game. To much try and error. TR4 i never played, an other friend was playing it on PC and i got some glimpse but the intrest was gone. I heard it's a good one but also tedious puzzle etc.. Ill play TR annivarsary once i my life! Still on the bucket list.

The tank controls are manageable enough--it's the bloody stupid obtuse puzzles that get me.
The controls in classic 'TR' games are perfect. Try playing the old 'Silent Hill' games if you think that these controls are hard XD

how do they find glitches? do they reverse engineer the code or just play it and try everything?
