Some people raise concerns about eating French silk pie, because traditional recipes (like this one) contain raw eggs. Raw eggs are safe to eat if they are pasteurized, which means that they are heated slightly to kill food-borne diseases and pathogens.
You seem to have enough scrap to make yourself a timber rack, a small version of what you see at Lowe's. You could place behind the workshop so to always have easy access to scrap when you need it. Believe me it's a game changer.
Looks amazing. My mom was our pie maker. Everything from scratch. So now my niece and I do pies. I am best and making my own breads and goodies. I love baking and cooking and sharing with family and friends.
Roxanne i absolutely love the fact that you are baking, you are really an inspiration to all of us who are amateurs, keep on baking girl you got this! 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Need a Wood Shed or some kind of building for scrap wood for future projects where wood can be kept all sorted . Always work to be done on a Homestead. Love your channel ..
You need some ramps for your oil changes. They are not very expensive. They will come in handy for all kinds of things. We’ve used ours for cars and lawnmower over the years.
I can see one more semi building that you can build. It looks like you have enough wood to build a some kind of shelter for the wood that you have and want to save, instead of leaving it exposed to the elements. A shelter will keep it dry and if done right, organized for the types of wood that is similar.
I never wait for my oil light to come on, I change the oil every 12 months on a service. I check the oil once a month along wilth tyre guage and tyre pressure.
Happy New Year, Rox, Ant & Wyatt. How about building a woodshed to keep the useful wood in and to keep it off the ground? It will look better than leaving it in piles on the ground. Just an idea.
Greetings from Northeast Ohio. You’re wise to get your yard all cleaned up before your big snow. It’s gonna look so beautiful. Be sure to take pictures.
Dont burn pressure treated lumber in the fire ring if your hanging around it the smoke is toxic im sure you guys know this just reminding yall stay safe love the video guys
Take some of that delicious whipped cream and add two to three nice dollop of it to a cup of hot tea. DELICIOUS, especially with extra vanilla. I'm now addicted.
Who was around to lick the bowl afterwards? As a kid, I would wander into mom's kitchen on baking days just to scrape the last remnants of the mix from the bowl into my mouth. The pie looks lovely.
I have a Dodge Journey, which I love. To replace the battery you have to remove the driver’s side front wheel. Then remove the plastic piece behind the wheel. You now can see the battery. Crazy design.
Why don’t you and Gary make an auto pit for underneath access. Have it near where you can run electrical to it to power your tools, compressor and lights.
I really enjoy your cooking videos Rox! This pie looks amazing! When I was a young kid 55 in the 70’s 😳😳😂🤣 my grandmother used to make Jello refrigerator pies with whipped cream. They were so good!
Hi folks. Greetings from Edmonton Alberta Canada. Been a fan of your channel and tge rest of your family. Save your scraps for bird houses. Lol My 1st comment. My boyfriend rides a harley trike so he likes riders.
That pie 🥧 looks delicious 😋. Just throwing this out there. Why not make a leanto off the side off Anthony’s tool shed/Roxanne’s pantry/storage room. It will keep your Good scrap wood dry and out of the elements. Maybe a shelf for shorter pieces , and put some not so good scrap wood down to keep it off the ground . See ya on the vibe 👋 👋🇨🇦
Y'all need car ramps and jack stands. Or find a small ditch the car can straddle and use it for an oil change access pit. And I hope you don't wait for an oil light to come on to check the oil! I check fluids for all our vehicles every weekend. It only takes a couple minutes. Nothing will ruin the engine faster than low oil and/or coolant.
Athony I lost my wife she passed in her sleep on October 25th 2024 . So love Rox like you never loved before. I still love when she was alive, I still wear my wedding ring 3 months. I can't write anymore Keep up the good work.😢
Hi guys!! Very nice job cleaning up the yard! Can’t you possibly make a rack of some sort to hold the wood you’re keeping? Also find or build a box for your scrap wood because you just never know when it might be needed. Wyatt may want to build something or you might find yourself needing a piece of wood for something. I’m the keep it in case person lol!! 😂 Can you tell? 😂 Has Mashone come home yet???? Roxanne your pie looks beautiful!! And I’m sure it tastes amazing!! 💜
Your pies looked yummy! I want to try the orange dream. Great live celebrating into the New Year! Here's one of my recipes my mother passed down to me if you like pineapple. One question you put raw eggs in this pie and did not cook it how is that safe?!
Some people raise concerns about eating French silk pie, because traditional recipes (like this one) contain raw eggs. Raw eggs are safe to eat if they are pasteurized, which means that they are heated slightly to kill food-borne diseases and pathogens.
Mayonnaise is made with raw eggs. The main thing is to use pasteurized eggs that have been heat treated.
I really enjoy watching you cook. Got me in the mood to make cheeseburger soup. Homemade is always the best. 🙂
You seem to have enough scrap to make yourself a timber rack, a small version of what you see at Lowe's. You could place behind the workshop so to always have easy access to scrap when you need it. Believe me it's a game changer.
Roxanne votre gateau est beauet semble bien bon. Bon appétit.

THE PIE LOOKS YUMMY AND THE YARD LOOKS BETTER HAVE A GOOD ONE GUYS
I always feel like I’m visiting with my friends every day when I watch your videos. Roxanne, I so admire your cooking abilities.
Get prepared because Arkansas is getting a lot of ice and snow starting today. So y'all be safe and make no plans to do any traveling over the weekend
You have the cement blocks to put under the lumber and cover with the tarp to stay dry..will last for years
Your cooking is awesome and so happy you got the wood pile cleaned up on the side of the house. It really makes the view POP
Looks amazing. My mom was our pie maker. Everything from scratch. So now my niece and I do pies. I am best and making my own breads and goodies. I love baking and cooking and sharing with family and friends.
Is any of the wood salvageable to build workbenches in your side of the supply room?
Roxanne i absolutely love the fact that you are baking, you are really an inspiration to all of us who are amateurs, keep on baking girl you got this! 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Make a wood crib to put all your lumber it wouldn't be hard. Use the tin for a roof to keep weather off it. ❤
I really enjoyed you making that pie. It was beautiful with tiny bits of chocolate. Please make more deserts.
Oh no did I miss her cooking? Love to watch her bake
You two made quick work out of that wood pile👍. I can’t wait to make that silk pie. Thank you for sharing✌️🇺🇸❤️❤️❤️

Use up that wood by making nice sturdy shelves for your pantry
🎉all of that ice and snow has already been in kansas city, also the cold temperatures. Stay warm 🎉
With the price of lumber I keep anything 2' and over. Good to clean up before the storm hits. ❤
Looks great. So glad you got it done before the bad weather hit. The French Silk pie looks delicious!!!
Some people store their extra wood under the house. It's readily accessible, yet out of sight.
Love your intro with pictures of nature and especially your animals. I'm in love with the black cat with the half brown face. Just beautiful❤
God Bless from your Canadian Friend.
Good morning ☕ Rox & Ant
Pie looks amazing. Love the trick to shape the whip cream. Awesome job!

Hi ,its a safe time to move your wood ,no snakes
Greetings from Northeast Ohio. You’re wise to get your yard all cleaned up before your big snow. It’s gonna look so beautiful. Be sure to take pictures.
Build you another shed to put the wood you want to keep, to keep out of weather, let wood dry out and can use for other wood projects!
Winter is a great time for cleanup. No snakes hiding there lol
Use a zip lock bag and cut the tip off one end off and it becomes a piping bag.
Happy birthday anthony
Roxanne, your pie looks delicious ❤❤❤

Hey, yall need to build a pole barn for all your building supplies , you can put it a bit out of the way and it will keep from thd elements.

Lay a lot of that wood on pallets to keep them from rotting out quicker.
