    Making a Leather Trucker Wallet
A fairly simple leather crafting project for beginner to intermediate leather crafters, we made up this trucker wallet with natural vegetable tanned leather and poly thread to sample a new wallet design. There's a hidden card slot, a bunch of long slots for receipts and cash, and this leather wallet also has a nice flap closure pocket for storing whatever extra stuff you might have!
I made up this wallet to sample a few design ideas I had. I like the idea of a shorter trucker / biker wallet, and this one measures in around 6.5" long instead of the traditional 7" or 8". It's compact but holds dollar bills without needing to fold them, which is important for ease of use. Overall I'm pleased with the design of the leather trucker wallet we made, and with a few tweaks it'll be a nice pattern to pull out every now and again.

Not only have your video filming techniques become satisfying and professional, but also carefully show your technique and speed in a realistic and convincing display of craftsmanship. The same for your freehand cutting, stitching, and glueing. Well done. Something for the which everyone may enjoy and learn.

Thanks so much, that means the world! It's been a lot of work to learn how to film properly and we're still very much amateurs, but your words of encouragement are very motivating to keep giving it a proper go :)

Using the spool as a guide for corners - genius. I always tell my students: "Use what you have in your studio to aid you when making art." This was a perfect example. :)

I love the way you film and edit your work! No music or anything, just the raw sounds of a workshop!
And those leather products look so great!
How thick is the leather that you're using, t looks easy to cut so I guess 1mm?
