    Really nice build man ! I know turbos weigh a bit more than exhaust end cans but they do make pretty effective silencers, sounds sweet and the spool up and down is awesome to hear 💥

    for the return , maybe a nutsert with banjo fitting , it'll keep it low profile , and if done well , won't leak . thats basically how they do with OEM fuel petcocks .

    E85: The stoichiometric air-fuel ratio is 9.76. E85 is a fuel mixture that is 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline.
    Sorry if this I'm missing something, just with you mentioning your afr, and it being too lean, those values I thought were for dinosaur juice as appose to corn juice. I did a quick Google search and it brought up that first paragraph which I copied and pasted. I hope this helps in some way, bloody love the build and the info you give!

      Oh yeah lol… This year I’ll actually be able to focus on that a good bit, I actually have a wheel speed sensor set up for wheel speed from a Honda CRF because they have a much much better tone ring than what the WR 450 F uses. It’s a 36 tooth count so it will allow for some pretty clear resolution.

    Man nice job. This is the 1st video I've watched im a dirt guy all the way but this is sick. It so cool to see someone putting out content that knows what they are doing. Is this your 1st time with the top fuel hoop. I need to watch your engine buld video im sure that will answer alot of my ? Like did you lower the compression ratio i would think with running E you might have 2 because it takes more fuel but tubos and running ethenol it way different than cams and race fuel im used to

      Thanks! Believe it or not I have a dirt wheel set up for this bike as well as I still pretty much ride it regularly on trails and in the dirt and the sand. as far as E85 goes, this fuel actually allows you to run a bunch more compression and in my case a lot of compression and boost and it takes it pretty well because the fuel itself is essentially like 115 in octane. Last year on my last set up that was making 100+ horsepower I did kind of have a hybrid version of the top fuel hoop, but it didn’t use a copper gasket. It was more so a compressor cylinder head… But this time it’s an actual top field hoop, which is a bunch better.

    The bike was in gear when cranking too, no chain on but gear sensor wire bouncing on sprocket doesn't help crank speed.

    Dude this is legit, almost everything I see built is ridden with problems. This is sorted out right and that takes good knowledge to do. I thought really good for a bike guy then I saw your s-10 build and everything made sense. Billet water jacketed hemi!!! 2500hp Ls not enough. I’m building a fox body and have changed the build several times over the years, still yet to make a pass but you’re worse than me going down the worm hole😂😂

      Probably close to high 60s or maybe even 70 with the work that I have done now

      I drive a 500 Athena kit 15/ 47 sproket 72hp rear wheel on dyno
      With sm wheels i do nearly 190 kpu

      Yeah, with this set up, the true intentions were to just make as much horsepower as I could… So I did give up a little bit of swing arm travel, but I’ve already worked out a modification that I could do to the hot side and cold side that would allow me to clock the turboin a more elevated position that would allow clearance for everything in regards to suspension travel

    I know I should watch through more videos BUT since its easy to ask: How did you manage the added power because even stock 450's blow up sometimes and they seem more fragile hp/cc than streetbikes. Did you get a custom billet crank with stronger rod and a longer rod than stock to have less attack angle, and are there any piston mods or stronger top end crank pins/offset pin etc? Some guy made 76-80hp out of a cr250 engine and needed an offset pin piston ordered from wiseco or wössner (forgot from which) to tackle harmonic balance issues at high RPM. Cheers :)

      On my previous setup I do On my page. In the summer of 2023 It made 105hp to the tire on 15psi on a pretty conservative tune. Near the fall of 2023 I turned the boost up to 24psi and fuel flow calculations align right around 130ish HP. Unfortunately I couldn’t get it back on the Dyno to back that up because I burnt an Exhaust valve.

      @@The_StreetSweeper got a 250i dynojet dyno at the shop I'm in north Carolina. My buddy's Drag raced for over 40 yrs little famous his name is Blake gann his son raced nhra prostock class motorcycles. Been building engines sence the early 70s.

    So ive just been watching some of your videos on this bike you should look into your gearing 130 hp isn't going to be very usable in a 250 pound bike and it tops out at 120 and you camt apply power without wheelies in 5th im just guessing but a sprocket change would make it a ton more street able. You clearly have changed some but play around with different front and rear i think going down 1 tooth on the front is like adding 2 in the back i could have that backward

      Yeah, I honestly think I might have to drop a few more teeth because on my last set up that was making around 130 hp I dropped one tooth in the front which should be theoretically equivalent to three in the rear and then I dropped one tooth on the rear sprocket, so a total of four. With the new Big Bore kit, it definitely added more torque and now I have to compensate for that lol

      @mohamedabada7101 the xr has way different internal gear ratios that still could be a little short especially with the hp different I could be wrong but this 500 is making about double the power I think of it like a car for example the higher the hp either the taller gear to get it to run highway speeds or more internal offset in gear ratio for example the difference between a 4 and 6 speed. In his he may need more than that even to compensate for the lack of internal operations and there could be options there also I'm not sure how big of a difference in gearing the Yzf 450 x woods bike has but I know it's taller

      @neilorange4112 my xr probably is around 50hp with a stage 2 cam and with 13 40 it tops out at bout 100 or a bit more. Not sure but it's plenty for a dirtbike

    What is the clutch cover spacer for? More clutch plates because of increased power?

      Nah, I still run the stock OEM clutch pack count. The reason for the billet clutch spacer is that I run a clutch lockout mechanism that operates off of centrifugal force. It’s pretty tunable because it has a lever arms that you can put bolts and nuts on to have different weights or basically different engagements of apply force.

      Everything is forged. This isn’t t my first turbo setup. I made 130hp last year (Stock Crank, Billet Rod, Billet Piston)
      This year I decided to push it further (Big bore) more headwork, cryoforged transmission (and I had the gears undercut which helped immensely)
      I guarantee this most most recent set up that popped was making every bit of 150 HP… This set up was ALOT faster than my old one on less boost at that. My last two setups and had forged internals though. I think I just found the limit of what this rod could handle.
