Thank You for good walkthrough. I actually have Stilo Abarth and the jolly fellow started to spam me with coolant temperature sensor errors, as well as indicating either 50, 60, 90, 40 deg. on temp. gauge. Gonna start with replacement of sensor alone, but I think replacement of whole thermostat as a precaution willo be a good move. Cheers.
Glad you found it useful! Yes I think normally it is the thermostat over the sensor. However they do recommend changing both, I only changed the thermostat and got away with it but it wouldn't hurt to do the sensor first in any case. Thanks for watching!
Do you, by any chance, have advise for replacing the "back pipe" (8:11), my Stilo is leaking coolint in this line at the backside of the motor and i cant reach the screws at the backside from under the car. I cant find a guide in the internet so replace it.
The part number is 7756713. And yes it was tough to replace. Easier to get to if you get under the car, however I did replace mine from above by removing the coolant bottle. Mine perished and started leaking.
Sure you probably should, although mine was just water in this video, it was leaking very fast so was too expensive to use coolant 😊 Good information though, thanks!

Stilo’s getting to be a rare sight on our roads these days.
They are, don’t see many at all now

Please do not let the coolant drain to the ground like that. You should collect it and dispose of your coolant at a recycling center...
