For example, in the traffic one, it might have been cool to see actual solutions but spaghetti mountain is what made me enjoy the content. Watching RT make that beautiful park and the campus while also using meteors- that's good content. The moment anything to do with the scores or placements come up, I instantly feel terrible because *why tf did he lose that hard?* Sure I expect this sort of thing to be rigged, or even that RT wouldn't win against a dude who makes Cities:Skylines tutorials apparently, but they did it in such a way that *detracts* from the enjoyment I would have. They could've made it close, or done a Whose Line by giving out points and a first place, but allowing everyone to do every challenge so that it's like yeah, they're winning, but that's not important let's do fun things!
idk I just feel like while Red Bull (herein meaning the staff of this tournament ofc, not the full company) didn't completely ruin this for me, they tried their hardest to do so.
also I think the bike challenge was kinda boring. maybe I'm wrong but you couldn't come up with anything better than that? esp when, again, apparently one of the participants makes video tutorials on that? so specific.

I don’t agree with any of the comments calling RT bad at the game or unwise for entering. He’s just having fun! It was awesome to see him sort of upset the natural order of esports tournaments where everyone is very serious & the sponsorships are the focus. He just played to his talents, which have always been his creativity & his ability to think on his feet & adapt under pressure. I think his moments of wondering out loud why he scored so low were fair; it mirrored what we were all thinking, too.
Either way, this was a lot of fun to watch. I love how RT’s approach to building in this game is a little chaotic & yet purposeful. He always manages to salvage any disaster areas, & has made some beautiful cities. It’s such a shame he didn’t get to play the disaster round, but luckily we’ve an entire playlist of what that might’ve looked like. These tournaments are all about the sponsors-so people justifying his losses in the comments with his performance are missing the point of a sponsored esports tournament. I’m sure RT doesn’t give a shit if he wins a Red Bull-sponsored esports tournament.
I like watching content creators have fun with games they enjoy & RT always delivers that. I don’t think something so genuinely light-hearted as his presence in this competition should be met with disdain.

For those asking about how RT could come dead last, the points system they used fucked him over.
    1st Place gets 4 Points
    2nd Place gets 3 Points
    3rd Place gets 2 Points
    4th Place gets 1 Point
When it came to the challenges where RT came dead last, mainly the traffic control, he’d only get 1 point. If you got last 3 times, you’d be unable to win. Since there were 5 challenges, and a 6th one for the finale, the point system is fairly balanced…
…but the ones handing out the points are not.
Game 2. A beautiful campus set on a high mountain with a meteor crater as a focus point. A creative, beautiful design, with a surprising realism to it, loosely mimicking Universities from both Tennessee and Arizona, which neighbor giant meteor crater sites.
And SOMEHOW, it is outclassed by a set of buildings along a road, (the vision in mind was nice, so props to the realism, but I don’t think it was that pretty or creative, fight me). I can get Stiff’s open field, mountain sided campus, it was pretty, creative, and realistic, and Biffa’s campus, while I’ve never seen a campus like that, was very pretty, I refuse. REFUSE, to believe that RT could have came last there. ESPECIALLY, when they said that his METEOR, got him EXTRA POINTS. He got EXTRA POINTS, and came last STILL.
On the Spaghetti Junction challenge, RT had gotten first place, but because he was already so far behind, he got his 4 points, but it wasn’t enough to push him beyond anyone else. Still, he was the only person to get 100% Traffic Flow, FAIRLY. Surely he should have gotten extra points for that amazing feat, but he didn’t.
For the parks, both RT and Stiff had very nice parks. Stiff had a giant hole of fire, so maybe the safety penalty might have gotten him, but RT? A nice little pretty, relaxing park. A nice lake, pretty cherry trees, it’s nice. HERE COMES 2 RACETRACKS, and both look oddly alike. Because, both were making attempts to imitate the Red Bull Ring racetrack, an actual racetrack sponsored by Red Bull in Austria. The same Red Bull that was Sponsoring this Tournament. They give it the excuse that Racetracks are technically Recreational things, which they are, but the challenge was a PARK. These two were just sucking the dick of the sponsors.
And then, the finale itself. The greatest ‘fuck you’. A Disaster filled game of Survival. UTTER CHAOS.
And who gets eliminated just before it? RT. Granted, he lost because of his points, but it kinda suspicious. Take a look:
More than likely, the tournament had already planned to have a chaotic ending. If it was spur of the moment, then that is just a larger ‘fuck you’ to RT than whats been going on. If this was planned before they knew RT would be in the tournament, then what most likely, they wanted everyone to be panicking for a huge, climactic ending, more suspense and surprise on the victor..
So when RT did join, things were flown out of whack. If RT made it to the final round, then he, who has made his whole career about that chaos, the disasters and destruction, would have DOMINATED the final round, making it not nearly as suspenseful or climactic. But it’s too late to change things, so what do you do?
You rig the beginning game against the man! If he doesn’t win the chance to get to the finale, things go as planned.
Sure, RT rightly failed some challenges, like the bicycle one, but again, it seems odd, as this is a challenge that Biffa, the top player who never left his position once, has made tutorials on. It seems tailor suited for his victory, the man TEACHES this challenge!
Perhaps I’m looking too far into this. I don’t mean any hate on the competition that RT faced, they seem like a good lot. But god damn, things look very suspicious in closer inspection. It seems like things were destined for RT to fail, unfairly so. I might be wrong, but, fight me.
    Thoughts?

I do blame both the players and the jury, but mostly the jury. Why? Because of the park challenge, everything was fine with the players until that point. Like, c'mon! Where in the world is a fucking racetrack (That is fully based off a Red Bull racetrack) is considered a motherfucking park? The closest to such thing that I know even personally is Mont Blanc and its little cart race track, and then Mont Blanc is still MUCH MORE than just that track and a ski place, and on top of it all THE FUCKING TRACKS WIN THE PARK CHALLENGE!!!
That is what threw me off the edge, they blatantly fucked that challenge to suck on Red Bull and got away with it, they didn't even try. I'm so hating on those two for that.

Biff while yes it's not a park the category was "parks or recreation" and raceways follow under that but I feel he should have lost points for the park and city nearby because the last thing anyone wants to hear in these 2 places is a racetrack. Quill honestly should have received barely any points considering he only really placed a roadway down on a piece of flat terrain. spiff got robbed, he made one hell of a park along with RT. if I had the ability to give points it would have been Biff- 10, Quille-3, RT-14, and Spiffing-12. Rt's was the prettiest park and I love parks that have rugged terrain. spiffing has the same feel but honestly, the fire pit kills it for me.
