This is my first time seeing him act and I have to say I'm pretty amazed 😮 his facial expressions when he's holding her face show how hurt he is, and the kiss scene when he's telling her not to forget him, you can see him pleading with his eyes 🥺😩 he's just so good 👏🏻
yes his acting is good,even he is the male lead or he is the bad guy...I've watched some of his dramas and he never fails me with his acting and facial expressions...

Namgoong Min is one of the top actors in Korea. All his drama got high ratings. people respect him a lot. Korean netizens will bring his name to diss kpop idol actors😂 He's very versatile method actor. He literally changed his body in his previous drama. But My Dearest is the first time he do full romance in a drama including tiny bed scene 🤭

Gil-chae thinks Yeon-joon has the certainty that she wants in a man [which he doesn't have but] she lived with him all her life. but she met you a couple of days ago. how can she trust you? [she doesn't know that you went to the WAR just for her because you did not tell her, she sees you as a lousy person.] She is a Joseon woman who wants a loyal man who will marry her. not a misogamist.

At first glance there maybe confusion surrounding why and how two people so in love cannot get together and here why GC put so much anger over JH afterwards. We the viewers can see how hard it was for both of them to get over own difficulty given they were not in the same place, but to the character, JH always knew there will be a GC waiting for him in the village, then had a reason to fight for, somewhere to return so he expected a GC happily received his gifts and his heart. But to GC, it was like waiting for someone not knowing when he would come back. It was, in fact, much harder for GC than JH. He gave her his heart then turned away so decisively and suddenly, giving her butterflies and hope but also nervousness and desperation.
