My favourite scene is when the crown prince,Seo Yul and Park Danga-gu try to help Mu Deok-i pass the test .It was so cute to watch them brainstorm like their lives depend on it lol

its written by the hong sisters and let me tell you they both are talented screenwriters. all the dramas they written for are well received and popular. they know how to capture not only the main characters but supporting characters giving them equal amount of on screen. their scripts are well balanced

Season 1 was so well made, it had comedy, fried ship, bromance, and romance. Most historical dramas, lack consistent comedy so it can get dry. But I the bromance of season 1 made it so entertaining. None of the friends betrayed each other. And mudeok and jang uk’s romance was a slow brew, we watched them start as master and pupil then friends, and lovers. In an interview, the actor for jang uk even said for part 2, he basically felt like he had to portray an entirely different character
You could never go wrong with Somin delivering funny scenes, then adding her great chemistry with these 4 adorb men. It's chef's kiss. The adults are equally funny too. 🤣

Season 2 lacked the strong mindset of naksu. Season 2 naksu was rather dull and helpess. But we all rooted for the naksu we saw in season 1 so we were so disappointed in s2 😢

Jung Somin is so good at showing her expressive face, she can show her feelings just with facial expressions, that's why she nailed every comedy scene so well. I see in some dramas/movies sometimes comedy scenes can fail because the actress/actor is not expressive, so their expression can't support the comedic situation.

So Min cast as Mu-Deok made so much sense because the contrast of a baby-faced actress playing a deadly assassin was interesting and funny. Plus Mu-Deok as a character brought the best of Naksu and Bu-yeon together. Hong sisters literally wrecked their own show for god knows what at the end by replacing the actress. lol

La sesión 2 tiene muchos huecos no está para nada bien escrita, ninguno de ellos ni reconoció a naksu a pesar de que tuvieron su cuerpo en songrin cuando murió. recurrieron a lo cursi y escenas de amor para llamar la atención de los espectadores que les gusta eso. La sesión 1 definitivamente mejor. Mudeok con su ropa poco elegante nos robó el corazón.
I love season 1. They are so chaotic. I miss Mudeok ang Jang UK bickering.
season 2 is really redundant tbh, season 1 is full of humours and funny scenes especially Park Jin, Madiservant Kim and Master Lee. Jung So Min portrayed mudeok very well
The Hong sisters are on another level. They make us ride on all kind of emotions.

I really like the s1, even the last episode is sad...you feel this s1 than the s2, even if you rewatch again the s1 the chemistry of somin and jang guk much better
I miss mudeok so much!! I also like gyj in the part 2 but watching the part 2 is like watching a new kdrama. I thought alchemy of souls is my home, but no, I realized mudeok is my home. I cannot watch the remaining eps of part 2 anymore.

Humour in part 1 is unmatched...😂😂.More hillarious compare part 2.Part 2 lack something...part 2 not even laugh when the scene supposed to be funny.Like try hard...part 1 not just funny,your emotion very roller coaster...all feeling in one and the vibe between somin with 4 male lead including danggu different but at it best..part 2 not even par compare to part 1....
