Despite the GameCube's hardware being more powerful than the PS2's, the limited space of the discs was really a huge drowback, because of that they had to reduce the quality of the game's assets such as textures to make it fit on the GameCube disc.

RookerVision - Gaming Videos ohhhhkayy😑😑😊😊, your videos are great though, but do you remember the background music used in GTA vice city comparison video.
The funny thing is before you start a graphics comparison, you speak about the game itself. In this case the different racing modes and how they work. Actually not a graphics comparison but good to know for newbies
Someone knows hoe tonget this run on pc ? I have tried anything but it always appears „program has stopped working“ after i clicked on the .exe to start the game
Which versions of Resident Evil 4 are you going to compare? I mean it has a lot of ports. The PS2, Wii, PC, iPhone, Xbox 360, PS3, PC again, and now Xbox One and PS4 all on top of the GameCube original.
the two things that weren't noticed: 1. Approach to dynamic cubemapping - PS2 refresh time of reflections is just bad, it's like Low setting on PC, and I think they're lower resolution (PC cubemaps are 128x128 each side). All other platforms perform nice dynamic reflections that update each frame - they indeed look realistic to me. 2. PS2 has lower resolution maps for light trails. I personally think they look super good, I find aliased light trails pretty eye-candy. 3. PS2 has better fog than the other platforms (PC version has none at all). I don't know how it works but it looks great.
LOVED this game as a teenager! Didn’t get it when it was new, but if I did, I would’ve gotten the PS2 version, which has online play! 2 of my friends each had the Xbox version, which does NOT have online play, but at least I got to play this great game at their places!
I don't think it's that great of an idea to compare the PC version with the other consoles. Since a widescreen fix has been used, I'm assuming that a resolution of at least 1080p has also been used, but by the looks of it no antialiasing on the PC version. This is an incredibly high resolution for the day and no GPU in November 2003 could do it above 10 fps and horrible frametimes at best. The best GPU of the time, ATI Radeon 9800 XT has either 128mb or 256mb of VRAM depending on the version of the card, running 1080p on that is painful. The comparison between the consoles is great, but adding the PC doesn't seem terribly helpful. It'd have to be a pentium 4 2.4A and a GeForce 4 MX 400(low end) or Radeon 9600 Pro(mid range great card) or GeForce FX 5700 to accurately compare the games. I have a radeon 9800 XT and p4 3ghz and while it does look better than the consoles, I can't run the game reliably above 1024x768 while maintaining 50+ fps at all times. 1280x960 is possible but sometimes the fps dips to 20 when there's a lot of stuff going on.
Hello I have a Issue with the widescreen fix for Windows. When I copyied all the content from the winrar file to NFSU folder.I launched the game but nothing happened just a Blue loading circle next to mouse cursor so I reinstalled the game and did the same thing again but it dont work it is the same Issue as the previous one. I loved need for speed underground I still have it today but I cant play it because my gamecube broke, I can put it on my wii but my gamecube controllers are wireless and need those little gas tank looking things that you connect to the gamecube (if you have a wii I think if you flip the top off theres 4 holes that are for wireless gamecube controllers.) but I lost them when we moved to a different house :(. My favorite thing about need for speed underground was that it was like a open world game you can roam around in you're vehicle around the city, I just loved doing missions in that green nissan they lended you. I feel like playing it right now, that game was my childhood along with another racing game I think its called 'burnout'.
OH MY GOD WHAT IS THE INSTRUMENTAL STARTING AT 2:13 IT'S FUCKING AMAZING Anyways yeah, I play on the PS2 and tbh it looks A LOT better on a box TV than it does a flatscreen. I think the Xbox has the best environmental graphics, the cars are probably the best looking on either the PS2 or the PC, and you're right, the GameCube definitely has the best looking streets and headlights. All in all, I can't hate at all, it's my favorite game of all time and it doesn't matter which system you play it on.

After years and years of playing this game during my childhood on the GameCube and months as well as months of replaying it once again in order to fully complete it and obtain everything in the game, I can officially announce that recently, I have finally finished it once again in time for our birthday which is in 4 days on April 19. A game that I have been playing since my childhood with my twin brother and I just have to say whenever we played it, it just brings back so much nostalgia and childhood memories of when we first played it like with Multi-player for example where when we replayed the game once again as well as even time to time where we race against each other I always thought of fully completing as when you're a kid you think its hard, confusing or way to hard because of how advanced it was and how you just want to always enjoy the present and never realize how fun it would be, like you instantly become judgment in a way as a kid and just want things to be simple and straight to the point. Like just the fact that during my childhood and as a kid, that I recall this being so high quality and HD, and fast forward to now you really see the difference and how overtime the things you remember aren't as high quality and HD as they are now. Like at the time, this game was so advanced and way ahead of its time but now its so blurry and its only when you're about to turn or when you're focused that you notice things. Its literally the game that started everything for the Need for Speed fransiche and one of Gamecube's most popular games of all time, same thing when it comes to the Need of Speed series as well. Even the soundtracks for it are all amazing; like there isn't one song that isn't bad or isn't good like even while I was playing it, I couldn't help myself but be in the moment while I'm racing whenever the songs played and couldn't help but sing them while I was racing, like Static-X The Only, Element Eighty Broken Promises, Story of the Year and the Hero will Drown and much more for example. Like the whole game is just amazing. I honestly can't find one flaw with the game itself other than some races being tough as well as how patient you have to be when racing as some races took so many attempts to complete and forever so you really had to be patient and countine giving it a try, and how some boss races are way eaiser than some races or not that challenging. Not only that but the amount of races there was honesty so nice mainly because it isn't one of those games where you finish it instantly or quickly but a game that takes time to complete and long to complete due to the amount of races there were. Regardless and even now where I finished playing Underground mode again I still countinue to play Underground and race in multiplayer against my brother since that's what made my childhood it was literally multiplayer mode and racing against each other with the RX-7 which is automatically given to you in mulitplayer and the rest you gotta grind for it. However, another flaw I could only think of is how some cars that are fast and way faster than the AI's car aren't exactly that fast like the Nissan GTR for example where at times I had to switch to the Mazda RX7 to complete it. Like on the last race I even used the RX7, since thats the first ever car I used in multiplayer same thing with my brother and its honestly the go to car whenever I need to win a race against an AI that was practically impossible to beat. Even when I fully completed it once again, and on the final race I remember telling my brother that this was the car we always stared with and race against each other with, and now its gonna be the car where we end it by finishing Underground mode once again once and for all. Like I remember grinding so much throughout the amount of races, and finally getting the RX7 in Underground mode it was honestly an experience I'll never forget just like recently when I finally completed Underground Need for Speed once again where I told my brother to record the moment. Its honestly a game thats honestly unforgettable and a game that you could honestly play day after day constantly like I always do. There's honestly so much to say about it as well. Like its just endless. You can just keep going on and on about it. Like on Underground mode my first car that I started with was the Mazda Miata due to how iconic it was and how I used it to grind for the Mazda RX7. Even the Skyline was amazing, and I used it for most races but whenever there was a challenging and tough race that required being patient I used the RX7 since it has the best control and how its so easy to drive. Like it will dust every single car even the Skyline which is the fastest. Anyways, I could just keep going on and on about how good this game was. Like its just pure nostalgia and childhood memories. If I had to rate it, I would give it a 5/5 or a 10/10 its just that amazing. Honestly so much to say about it. Truly amazing, legendary alongside iconic. Pure childhood nostalgia right here. Glad to have it fully completed it once again.

I bought into the nostalgia and bought underground 1, carbon and pro street for the ps2. I have all of those discs and the ones in between I didn’t mention on the 360. It was a battle of do I want to replay them on the better system or play them over on the more nostalgic console even if it’s not the best (ps2)
@RookerVision - Gaming Videos well, Need For Speed wasn't a dying franchise even before underground cause Hot Pursuit 2 was awesome back then, so there's a little misnomer there, also NFS High Stakes was actually the first to introduce career mode, of course without storyline. Also i wouldn't call night racing on the streets a new feature since there were some night tracks on the streets in older NFS as well, it's just they switched focus on that part more.

Awesome job. I played at PC on la houses in Brazil. Today seeing how was bad the graphics on all consoles, Im happy to played ín the best way... Thanks!
You forgot one thing about GC version. It doesn't have a Vertical Sync.
This video forgot to take note of one thing.
Plates ARE on consoles, but only for player vehicles, and not preset ones like Eddie's Skyline, ect.
What's the name of the song in your intro
How do you get it on modern pc?
Just popped on NFSU for the first time in a decade at least for the PS2. Great fun, but holy crap does the framerate dip into the teens often.
I still need to get my PS2 either repaired or replaced, but as soon as I do, I am definitely revisiting this game! (Didn’t have it when it was new, but 2 of my friends each did for the Xbox! Played it at their places, loved it!)
0:03 what's name of this beautiful melody?
Was there a way to fix the menus in the PC version being stuck at 640x480 resolution?
You're using Component Cables on GameCube? Did you enable Progressive Scan? (Hold B button during boot)
Just saw this video and your channel for the first time really loving this video got a new sub!

Im glad i picked up something people like. I have a Launch edition wii, went into a retro game store to pick up a gamecube controller because i had just gotten metroid prime trilogy, gamecube versions for 1 and 2. For some reason i had like 7 n64 controllers, so i grabbed one and thought i would trade it for a gamecube controller. So I go to trade, but the guy doesn't have just a controller, he only has a full gamecube system. So im like whatever. i just wanted to play my game. So i buy a whole gamecube system for the co troller, and the guy sais i can get a free game off the shelf. I just randomly grabed a game, there wasnt much that looked interesting, so i grabbed this. Im glad i git something people like.
Man, you just need more subs :D
What is the background music, please somebody tell me!
I forgot I'm sorry. Lol.
Hello, what did you use to record the game on PC?
OBS
Does it have to do with the Gamecube having a minidisc capable of much less storage?
Ty for new amazing video :3
You're very welcome
what's the background music name?
can someone tell me what song is playing in the background?
Someone knows hoe tonget this run on pc ? I have tried anything but it always appears „program has stopped working“ after i clicked on the .exe to start the game
Odd question but where can I get a copy of this game for pc?

Which versions of Resident Evil 4 are you going to compare? I mean it has a lot of ports. The PS2, Wii, PC, iPhone, Xbox 360, PS3, PC again, and now Xbox One and PS4 all on top of the GameCube original.
Whatever I can get my hands on
cool
Would mind doing a side by side for Tomb Raider (the reboot of 2013)?
No matter what consoles you are playing on, how the graphics looks like. As soon as you starts to enjoy the game its still fun
perfect chanell, you ate awesome dude, grettings from argentina suscriber
the two things that weren't noticed:
Thx for my all time fav game! Loved it
You're very welcome
At max resolution so pc is at what 4k? 2k 1080p? And what 476i on ps2 and xbox?
Is there a way to buy this on PC without a physical copy now?
and to be honest the xboxs bit of blurry lights make the city look more neon and cool
Please HELP. BTW nice video 📹. 😉
I have a same problem please help.
D3vilous download a fixed exe from the internet and make sure to patch to latest version.
Thank you very much, I'll try to. Can i ask what is the newest version of NFSU?
seems to be 1.4 with a quick google search ;)
Thanks a lot :D
Reflections on the PC are the smoothest and the most accurate, how did you forget to talk about that ? :P
OH MY GOD WHAT IS THE INSTRUMENTAL STARTING AT 2:13 IT'S FUCKING AMAZING
Anyways yeah, I play on the PS2 and tbh it looks A LOT better on a box TV than it does a flatscreen.

RookerVision - Gaming Videos i have discover 3 week ago and i like old game review
does the gamecube version run at 60 or 30 fps?
I like that you compare old games, because these are the best games imho (no dlc, no microtransactions, no purchasable skins, but still nice graphics).
Also, I am thinking to buy an old console, like ps2, or xbox to play all these games :D
Nice, yeah I love this generation of games the best. Great games, and still fun to play
whats wrong with racing games with exotic cars?
why you do cmparisons on old games.I like that you do it that's what im saying becuase is nice becuase i don't think there is another person with old comparison and i like how detailed is the comparison.Keep going with not the good or great it is the Keep up with the Perfect Work!

how do you get underground on PC?

How did you install it on PC? It doesn't work for me :c

Love this game, one of my favorite racing games.
Can you do Sly 2?
@RookerVision - Gaming Videos well, Need For Speed wasn't a dying franchise even before underground cause Hot Pursuit 2 was awesome back then, so there's a little misnomer there, also NFS High Stakes was actually the first to introduce career mode, of course without storyline. Also i wouldn't call night racing on the streets a new feature since there were some night tracks on the streets in older NFS as well, it's just they switched focus on that part more.
