In the manufacturing industry, Millipore cleanliness test is a laboratory procedure performed on a component/assembly surface to quantify the surface residues/dirt (contamination) level. 2. By maintaining the desired parts cleanliness will avoid any kind of premature system failures those could have caused by the presence of contamination. Eg. - conducting metallic particle may damage any electronic PCB. - Abbrassive, the metallic contamination will wear out a bearing surface, damage the valve seatings, chock the hydraulic/ fluid circuit and many more.
