I watched from just before she bought the first one, when she made that P-Mart sign, till she was losing all Matsuri's gifted scrap before going to work, I'm actually surprised she turned her gambling luck around to be able to afford and crash a second one lol.
She didn't. She actually lost all of Matsuri's gifted items, so Matsuri just gave her more again. She won technically, but after losing so much. Matsuri really helped her so much which makes it even funnier that she just tried to steal from her again

Yeah, I got there at around the same time. I was really surprised when Matsuri gave her enough to buy a heli, but Pekora just went and gambled it anyway lol. At least she got a heli in the end and we got this masterpiece.

In Rust, Matsuri has threatened to kill Miko for losing her loan money to gambling, set Laplus up to die from landmine, killed Pekora a total of 3 times. She's becoming more like a certain psychopath.

As a general aviation pilot who pilots planes, I will say that helicopters are a bit different. You're not flying what you're in, you're flying the blades and how they tilt above you. Making it actually rather difficult for normal pilots who pilot planes to switch over to helicopters. In this respect, driving a car is a lot easier than flying a helicopter.
Also, unless you've been trained, fog and clouds are incredibly dangerous as its killed A LOT of pilots. When you drive, even in the most brutal rainstorm, you can atleast see the ground, when you fly, you may not be able to see the ground, in such a scenario and without the proper training, you may lose your sense of orientation or worse yet, adapt wrong orientation in a process known as spacial disorientation. There's also weather such as thunderstorms to contend with which are just as or even more dangerous.

Rust Helis are an actual nightmare to pilot if you've never played the game before. I don't know how the holo server works in terms of scrap rates, but 750 is a pretty big chunk of change to spend on practicing on most servers.
I think the holo server is on vanilla.
(I saw Laplus hitting trees in her last stream, values are at vanilla level)
750 scrap grind can take some time.
