- Even if you're absolutely not interested in this game or what's going on, this video captures Pekora's boasting and Noel's absolute legendary turn around of the points.
If you do know gambling, I don't, so I am sorry for butchering half the terms. I tried finding english equivalent for many words like Shimofuri chance, Gekiatsu, but it just felt like none of them could accurately describe what they actually were. The only one that's important is the Shimofuri chance, which I put as "free spin chance," because it allows you to spin a chain event and keep earning cash.

I realized after rewatching this, it's pretty fast paced, so I'll explain a bit here too. Basically, Pekora and Noel are competing to see who can win the most points in an hour. At the beginning, Pekora takes the upper hand, as she scores quite a few Shimofuri, bonus, etc. (Also, Noel wasn't even playing until 10 mins in). Every time she wins something big, she'll turn on the mic and start annoying Noel by singing songs and bragging. Shirogane Noel then pulls of the clutch of the century and starts scoring big with 20 minutes left. At 10 minutes left, she has overtaken Pekora.
This game is quite different from regular slot machines. It also has skill in it, because you control a little character in the top screen by pulling the slots. Therefore it's not just random chance but has an element of game to it too.

Reminder: the colours represent who can hear the voice. For example, even though at 3:19 it seems like Noel is talking to Pekora, it is not dark grey, so Pekora isn't able to hear.
I used this system so it would be much easier to tell what's actually going on.

That was a great choice, made it super easy to understand. One nitpick would be to clarify why it's those colors. At first I didn't get why you chose those colors so I rewinded and then understood its essentially "light = can't hear, dark = can hear".
Most people probably didn't need to rewind but that's why it's a nitpick lol
Good idea, bad color choice.
Both the dark colors ultimately end up looking kind of similar and also (opinion) sort of stop reminding you of the girls' original color schemes at those shades.
I'd recommend using either more distinct colors (not really sure which ones though) or choosing to make the "can be heard" lines be in ** or something similar to that.

The duels between Pekora and Noel are always a treat; my favorite moment of all Hololive is their "Getting over it" face-off. Highly recommend it.

I love this format of playing each other while muted and unmuting just to trash talk each other. This was one of my fave streams and their screeching whenever they scored big is always hilarious. Miko and Korone’s getting over it battle was another stream of this type that had me dying of laughter

I will say is that using different colors was a very clever idea for making it so that it's easier to see who's speaking and who can hear, but it might be a better idea to use colors that aren't so close together next time.

DQ itself has its own gambling system, with special versions of enemies that you can recruit. Without even counting spin offs like DQ Monsters, where you can go full Kanata Uppa Ruppa, breeding monsters, trying to create a rare one.

Speaking of Feeding Frenzy, I really, REALLY have to wonder if Pekora would have won if only she had just timed the button presses as the game tells you to when feeding meat to the monsters. I say this because every time I had done it right in my game, the Feeding Frenzy lasts for like 16-ish monsters but here it seems it was over at like 6, and at 4:28 you can see that she was just pressing the button right away, not timing it right, probably in desperation to win. Who knows, maybe it has nothing to do, but I did find odd that her Feeding Frenzy rounds were so short.
