Visited here many times ad will certainly still do so., we also stay at The Swan (we always try to reserve the same room each time), I thought you was going to show some of the Swan ???? lovely video anyway, thankyou for posting.
Hello rsonghurst. Thanks very much for watching the video. I am making another one of the Swan, which I hope to finish by the end of this week. Are there any points about the hotel that you would like me to include? I will put another comment on here with a link to the video, which I hope you will be able to see. We will certainly visit Lavenham again. Best wishes, Rob
Nice piece. I live in Lavenham. Couple of small points of information you may wish to amend. Lavenham is now a village and no longer a town (unlike nearby Clare). It has a village hall not a town hall. Henry VIII is 16th century not 15th. Many of the timbered houses are not medieval (despite the road sign) they are Tudor-built as is the Guildhall and much of the rebuilt church. Tudors are early modern not medieval.
Hello James, Thanks very much for watching the vid and taking the time to comment. I thought that Laverham was a village but then saw it referred to as a town. It's too late to amend the video but I will amend the text to cover your points. I realised that I'd made the Henry VIII error when I played the video back to myself. I meant to say 'the 15 hundreds' but it came out as 'the 15th century' :( Thanks also for the clarification of the timbered houses, I didn't know that. You live in a very nice part of the world James and I hope it stays that way. Best wishes, Rob
