Surprisingly, bus station in Malaysia its much much better than the airport lol. KLIA such a big no no, cramped all the way especially domestic departure and arrival.
I really enjoyed this video! Really helped me work out how to get to Melaka from KL when I’m in Malaysia in a couple months time ☺️ hope you are enjoying Malaysia and especially the food 👍
Greetings from Canada. Just came across this posting and a few other related ones and am shocked at how complicated it now seems to be to travel between Malacca/Melaka and KL. Back in the 60's when the present Subang SZB was THE actual KUL airport it was possible to fly to from Melaka MKZ on Malaysia-Singapore Airlines a couple of times on Fokker F27s, most commonly 9V-BAR; the same flights continuing on to or originating in Singapore, back when SIN was Paya Lebar. I wonder if there is any reason why air services to MKZ now seem to have been abandoned. Getting there direct from Singapore is now really difficult for international travellers.
There are still flights, but waiting in line at the airport to get in, waiting to get on the plane, waiting for lugage, and cramped airplanes have encouraged us to try a spacious and quick alternate option for this trip.
Very informative, thanks. Planning to take this trip next week (KL-Malacca). No need for previous reservation right? There are many buses leaving for Malacca during the day
Several years ago, illegal vietnamese fishermen landed in the east coast port, went to the jungle and capture many monitor lizards and hung them to a pole walking towards their fishing boats. We do not eat monitor lizards here, i guess vietnamese do. It was outrageous how illegal migrants walk into our towns and took our wildlife. The police and authorities were condemned for such weak patrolling of our shores. Thereafter, military went into our jungles and caught cambodians and vietnamese wildlife illegal traders poarching our wildlife like tigers, pangolins etc etc.

No need. Hope you have a great trip.
How long was the bus ride from KL to Malacca?
About 2.5 hours. Not too bad. A good nap.
@@SQUEEZEtheDAY awesome. Thanks for responding. I will be in KL soon and I’m hoping to try this journey also.
Can I book tickets online?
We couldnt, which is why we had to go to the station.
Monitor lizards are common
We think they're amazing animals. Thanks for sharing.
