    Thank you so much for this. I arrived in KL two weeks ago and this video was so helpful. I didn’t realise there were different speeds. Because of you I purchased the best deal ( in terms of speed and allowance) and great tip to buy before passport control rather than after it. Thanks!!!

      We went with TuneTalk and went for the 15GB for RM30 and paid by cash. The lady helped install and activate the SIM card, which is a first so great service from Tunetalk!

    Hi Tom - I am going to a remote island where they have told me that Celcom is the way to go for here - any Celcom advice from anyone ? I am happy to get the sim card anywhere in KL upon arrival. It doesn't have to be at the airport .. thanks everyone !

    • @Heyzairi
      @Heyzairi 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, a Malaysian and an ex Celcom user here. Yes they have the best coverage in our country. But talking about the internet surfing experience, it has been an issue for some Malaysians nowadays, specifically during the night. If you prefer having better internet speeds and better latency, Maxis and Yes are the ways to go. But the downside when using Yes network is that minimum coverage supports only from 4G and above.

    • @Heyzairi
      @Heyzairi 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You might opt for a Digi sim card as well, better latency too but since they merge the network with Celcom (which became CelcomDigi at the end), you know what's the answer.

    Did I hear 30 Mbps high speed correctly? That doesn't sound fast by today's standards though it does not surprise me because I heard on the news the other day that the government is going to roll out its 5G network this year. That implies that 5G (super high speed coverage) isn't nationwide in Malaysia just yet.
