- I want to wish everyone a very Happy New Year from our family to yours. I found a Heavy Hitch tooth bar on Facebook Marketplace the other night, set it up with the seller and off we went. This should turn the grapple bucket into a pure beast, lets find out together.

I like your setup with the bucket by adding the toothbar and grapple. I wonder how it would work on hard-pack sheep winter bedding. I'm currently using a rake/grapple, but it has a hard time piercing the bedding and ends up pushing a lot. I've already got the Heavy Hitch toothbar and hydraulics, so adding bucket grapple is on my radar.
Denise, I think you'd be extremely happy with the add a grapple, and that is an unsponsored recommendation. The spring cleanup at the horse barn shows it better, of course I didn't have the tooth bar this past spring. But the hay and manure get very compacted, last year the blank bucket with the grapple proved to be worth it, I'm expecting better things now with the tooth bar.
Beats a full grapple hands down.

I would say that was a good trade Pat. Great find. I’ve been thinking about getting a tooth bar or another bucket with a tooth bar so I can just leave it on and change buckets. Happy New year to you and your family. Waiting for snow here also. Tired of the mud like I said on Gtt this is getting old, dry or freeze.
I think it was a good deal for both of us, eye of the beholder. Honestly Bob, I’m so sick of playing in mud right now it makes me sick, I’ll keep doing the snow dance for both of us.
@@ElkCreekAcres Yep never seen it this bad this late. We are almost up to the frame putting out rounds bales and can’t do nothing else. We keep moving the feeders but t just seams to be getting worse. Crazy 🙏❄️
