@@hauger4846 Flicker Wisp would have eaten the go again from Arc Lightning, which I needed to give to Snatch. Using Aurora would have prevented me from making a Runechant with Grasp.
It's possible that I could've sequenced this turn better but I wanted to play around Flesh Bag. Sending Snatch before breaking Gold means I only have a blue in my hand, which I can pitch to Aurora if I absolutely needed to.
I mean, this right here was 19 damages of 4 cards and 2 equipments. Considering that to do this combo you need one card that is not good at all by itself (Flicker Wisp), this is really fine. LSS probably tested that and saw that it was good but not at all free to pull off And btw personally, I would NEVER take out Face Purgatory against Levia, because Brute is the MU where we will get the most value out of that helmet (up to like 8 value)
@@DyscreteGaming I don’t believe this combo is at all problematic. Aurora has to give up a lot of armor block for it, as well as assemble two specific cards (one of which isn’t great on its own).
@@broadleafrain44I completely agree except about Face Purgatory. I don’t believe in that card: it warps deck construction and can encourage bad blocks to get “value.” Good Levias will play around Face the same way they play around Flesh Bag
It is sometimes impossible to play around Purgatory, especially for Brutes. Will levia stop attacking with dread screamers? Or not use their most powerful card Shadowrealm Horror. If the only NAAs in your deck are sizzle, arc and Burn up (which I belibe should all be in every Aurora decks), Face purgatory is very good IMO
not really problematic yet, you're sacrificing equipment block for burst damage. plus it's one of her only outs to slow grindy decks that look to block everything. it's actually great for her
But why start with flicker? So you missed the 2dmg ping from Go again on flicker wisp.

So that the snatch will have GA
Ah i see. Good point. In my head was the Go again from arc only for attack Action.
Nice thanks for clarification
Wouldn't it be worth to just play the new Arc Lightning before crasp. Would have been 6 more damage and 8 if you activate Gold before Chest.
Drawing first was definitely the right play, and Arc Lightning for more damage would've been correct. Nice call!
I think it makes sense to break the gold before playing Snatch.

Yeah, your line definitely has it's advantages too. I wasn't thinking about Flesh Bag.
I wonder if LSS tested that..
