Mowed a LOT of lawns to get my baby blue GT world tour back in 86 - 87. Rode that bike everyday and everywhere. I learned all the street tricks and could stand on the handlebars and seat for blocks. GT has inspired me again with the 29" pro performer. Fantastic to see behind the scenes! Thank you!!

GT was the BMX brand back in the old school days of BMX racing. All the cool kids had one. They had some of the best racing and then freestyle frames. Love seeing his son continue the tradition! Thanks for sharing!

Kool man. Btw Craig made Martin's custom S bend white frame that he rides. You should have asked about GT remaking the S bend pft frames in 20 inch and bigger

TIG welded in America with a Lincoln welding machine, seeing that sold me on getting one of these bikes.

Great video. Have a few friends from Heavy Hitters getting custom bikes made by Craig right now, they have an order of 10 or more being made.

How I wish I had my 87 GT PRO PERFORMER still. I got it when I was 11 it was the pink one my dad bought from a pro he met who was quitting and I spent all summer stripping the paint off of it and rebuilding all the bearings painted it grey/chrome with 9 clear coats had two sets of wheels too the white and black plastic ones. I maybe got to ride if for a week and it was stolen one night. We reported it stolen and we knew all the police cause they hung out drinking coffee with my folks everyday at a hotel we ran so they were on the lookout for it but I know kids wanted it first day I had it out someone offered me $250 I said no way I’m never ever selling this bike and they were pissed so I’m pretty sure I know who stole it but to this day 30 years later the bikes not been seen by anyone. There was a rumor it was thrown off a bridge in the river during really high fast current and may of been washed away forever cause we checked every bridge back then with no luck. I still search the internet hoping to find it for sale or someone owning it. Man hurts my heart.

Well could somebody elaborate on that then? I'm really curious how that came to be, but nevertheless, stoked they're still making new GT bikes. :)
