+KROSER Another good way to play this game, don't play with the dickhead playstyle that Levelcap is promoting by ramming with the shields on. People who do that (and now that he's basically gave his "Hey this is good for me!" the dickriders are going to start doing it more often now) honestly ruin all the fun. I don't know how many times in the beta that I'd try and get into a x-wing/tie-fighter, get into the air only for some dickhead to deliberately plow into my fighter before I can move due to the cinematic.

That tip should be changed to: If you are on PC, hook up a controller and switch to it everytime you fly, because they fucked up M/KB flying controls from the beta to the final game. EDIT: You can change on the fly.

A good tip for anti-tank players: Ion Grenades are some of the most powerful anti-armor weapons in the game, more so than the ion torpedo. I did a test with the weapons in survival, and just recently against an enemy player, and managed to two-shot the AT-ST with direct impacts using only ion grenades while it was at full health. If you want to support your friends, that's your best friend, so upgrade it, ASAP to get it to cool down faster.

2 very important things: 1. Use the "satelite turrets" to shoot the at-at's. Each shot deals 2-3%. 2. When playing in 3rd person, make sure to switch views from left to right/right to left when you need to look around corners.
another tip, the cannons on sullust may do massive damage to infantry on the ground, but point them to the sky and you can do massive damage to flying vehicles, usually just a 2 shot kill
Also, at the time of writing this, I just realized, one of the abilities of the snow speeder is a jammer that makes it impossible for anyone to target you while in the air. It has a rapid cool time, and can be used in rapid-fire ways to provide you easy kills against walkers.
I was playing walker assault on Sullust. We managed to destroy one AT-AT on the second y-wing payload point. The problem was, the destroyed AT-AT was blocking the path of the other one so it halted it's progress to the end of the match. We ended up getting over 20 y-wings in a never-ending match before i left the game when it was past the 1 hour mark. Everybody was racking up over 70 kills lol.
a good tip is when playing the Hero 3v3 wait until the heros spawn, once they do pick to become a Body guard and your team will have a big advantage in winning the round with bodyguards sooner in the game.
Stay along the outskirts of most small map game modes. Running through the middle is a sure fire way to get eliminated by enemies from multiple directions. Flanking is your friend.
One of the more helpful things I've found is for partner play. Anyone who partners up with you can use your active hand. If you have friends who are just getting started you can help them rank up quicker by giving them "early access" to star cards that are beyond their level.

My personal tip is for those who are biased towards first person view (as I was), after a while, I begrudgingly switched to third person for a while just to give it a try, and I have to admit, this is one game that plays markedly better in third person perspective. Now, I ONLY play Battlefront in third person. Time to go play some missions and rank up some easy credits...thanks!
Bodyguard trait saves you from OP explosions, a detonator and even a homing shot will only do about 70 damage with a direct hit. It also mitigates splash damage
I found a new "tip" just now. If you fire your blaster until it overheats, then press your star card, it does something strange. The star card stays applied but doesn't start the countdown on the star card until you fire your next shot. So basically you can walk around with it always active.

If you camp behind the walker in walker assault you can have it absorb ion torpedoes while you are in the AT-ST. I did this on Sullust one game and was able to survive a lot longer.
One tip that I think might be obvious but I don't see a lot of people using: Ion Shots absolutely wrecks turrets. If you have enemies who love to camp turrets, you can really ruin their day.
If you ever get to use a hero on Tatooine in Walker Assault, choose Boba Fett. The map feels practically tailor made for his play style. I personally just went 54-0 with him today.

That trick with the Falcon ram works with any rebel ship, so long as you have your shield ability on. I think I've flown through a few TIEs during head-on passes. They thought they were gonna get a jet ram, or I guess starship ram in this case. They thought wrong lol.
Tip: when another player becomes Leia or Palpatine, you can respawn as a guard. Guards come with a Homing Shot and Smart rocket. Plus they feel kinda OP. =)
You can also shoot through the large crates on walker assault on Sullust while in an AT-ST, preventing lock-ons from hitting you. Really cheap but you get lots of easy kills
hey levelcap i have a challenge for you in battlefield 4, get an transport chopper find a spot on any map where you can take out snipers and players using the minigun(eventually try to stay on trees or dark spots if you can.) every kill you get you will have to use after your rpg and then the worst gun in the game for the engineer to take out any target(if you accept this youre true mlg)

The first time I got to be Boba Fett was in a Supremacy game on Tatooine. I got 35 kills before they finally got me.He is incredibly good if you utilize your jetpack and all of your abilities.
Destroying the Y-Wings in the Walker Assault Mode definitely does NOT reduce the time rebels have to attack the AT-ATs. Each Y-Wing makes up 10s of AT-AT-vulnerability and this will never change, regardless of what you do with the Y-Wings (so they're just animations that can be shot for some points). If you really want to reduce the rebels' time, you'll have to prevent the rebels from calling the Y-Wings in the first place: by shutting down their uplinks. You could technically see it in the video aswell: each Y-Wing symbol lasts for exactly 10 seconds - always.
Have a love/hate relationship with this game. Yeah, it's darn pretty. Sound is awesome too and when it flows it super fun but damn there are so many frustrating things too. Like endless nade spam, endless orbital strikes, impact grenades and auto-targeting missiles that are impossible to avoid. Players who abuse walkers or heroes for kills rather than helping with objectives. Running into heroes and there is nothing to do but get killed. Getting spawn camped. Getting killed the very second you spawn or trekking across the map for a minute only to get killed by some hidden player and then have to do it all over again.
Tip1: Air combat- if you are on imperial side you will loose Tip2: If you loose don't rage quit, becouse on next round you are rebel and can kill them like they killed you and then they rage quit.
You can also roll , either move left or right and then double tap the crouch button. (The thing is it doesn't show the animation on other people's screen)

+lycon7000 Also should be noted that the "Yellow zone" will shrink if you keep instantly cooling down your gun in a short time and can leave you defenseless if you're not careful, and I believe you can only have 2 hands plus your Partner's hand.
Tip 11: Use Ion torpedo than Ion shot to destroy the AT-ST or other vehicles quickly cuz it give massive amount of damage to the vehicles especially to the AT-ST
it has a lot of issues but generally it's a good game to play most annoying thing is if ur in third person in confined spaces if u aim down sights sometimes ur players head goes right over ur sights so u can only see the back of ur character head rather than the guy ur shooting at grrrr but over all good

Hey LevelCap. Me and my brother found a glitch where you can exit a Ti-Fighter or any other ship and fall all the way to the ground. What it does? It makes you completely invincible to anything, as long as you don't pick up any power ups on the ground or use any of your starcards. Here's the thing though. We did it, but can't quite figure out what we have to do again. So I was wondering if you could try and see if anything works for you, and make a video on it. When it happened, we were on walker assault and was changing the invert flight mechanic in the pause menu. This is all during flight, once we got out of pause, we were being shot and then the ship blew up, but we were still alive and fell to the ground. If you could figure it out that would be great.

If you like close quarters try Explosive Shot with the Shotgun, in close range is nearly one hit death with area effect!

Here's a tip: Play hero's VS villains! Its one of the most underrated game modes in Battlefront and easily me and my friends favorites!

When playing as luke or vader press the C button to switch on and off your lightsaber it can be very easy to see it especially on the darker maps
Thanks level! Also a huge tip is when your gun overheats, you get 2 yellow dots, if you press reload the moment the heat meter reaches those dots the gun instantly cools down! Also does anyone know how many card hands you can have pre-made?
+lycon7000 Also should be noted that the "Yellow zone" will shrink if you keep instantly cooling down your gun in a short time and can leave you defenseless if you're not careful, and I believe you can only have 2 hands plus your Partner's hand.
Tip 11: Use Ion torpedo than Ion shot to destroy the AT-ST or other vehicles quickly cuz it give massive amount of damage to the vehicles especially to the AT-ST

it has a lot of issues but generally it's a good game to play most annoying thing is if ur in third person in confined spaces if u aim down sights sometimes ur players head goes right over ur sights so u can only see the back of ur character head rather than the guy ur shooting at grrrr but over all good
watching you guys play this on pc. I noticed it seems you guys get a better sensitivity then consoles. I have my sensitivity on max and TBH it still feels sluggish

Hey LevelCap. Me and my brother found a glitch where you can exit a Ti-Fighter or any other ship and fall all the way to the ground. What it does? It makes you completely invincible to anything, as long as you don't pick up any power ups on the ground or use any of your starcards. Here's the thing though. We did it, but can't quite figure out what we have to do again. So I was wondering if you could try and see if anything works for you, and make a video on it. When it happened, we were on walker assault and was changing the invert flight mechanic in the pause menu. This is all during flight, once we got out of pause, we were being shot and then the ship blew up, but we were still alive and fell to the ground. If you could figure it out that would be great.

Here's a great tip... PLAY THE FUCKING OBJECTIVES!!! Why are you joining objective based game modes if you're just going to ignore the objectives!?
