well in bf4 the recon literally has 3 wallhack gadgets yet the scrubs still refuse to use them on the objective, or at all. all the know is the pld is a range finder.

I don't know about anybody else, but hearing that "this star card isn't OP because all the star cards are OP" is not comforting

My favourite starcard will be the CumShot, it autoheals you if you activate it, and it is a one-shot kill to the face, also has rapid fire capabilities

Was looking for a way to put it...and yeah you got it spot on. I guess they figure that it's such a casual game that op shit like a fucking triple noob tube won't annoy people. I mean, cod is casual as hell, and the devs at least try to not put game breaking stuff in it. A casual game can be a balanced one, too.

People asking how it is PC, some folks had the opportunity to attend a capture event earlier this week and recorded all game modes with a level 50 account on PC.
One good way to balance this out would be to bring back the dive/roll mechanic from the original battlefront. Of course this wouldn't allow you to shoot while you roll but it would say maybe if times right throw of the lock on by the infantry rocket and aid greatly against impact grenades if they tighten the splash radius a bit. By giving us added mobility you can amp up the combat, increase the skill gap, and provide a way for those that are on their toes to be able to survive some of these op cards.
Oh I can taste the salt and hear the rage. I personally like the crutch and new dynamic. See you guys on the Battlefield.

I prefer the ion grenade for vehicles, it does a ton of damage and explodes on impact if you throw it at an atst

They REALLY need to nerf the DL-44. You get it automatically with the Deluxe edition right off the bat, and it is WAY too overpowered. Pretty much everybody uses it as soon as they unlock it. However, at least you can counter act it with a high-range blaster.
After patch:
- I don't think I've ever killed anyone with the impact grenade
- Bowcaster even at point blank range is no longer one shot kill... useless, because the gun is ONE shot only, by the time you switch to another weapon you are dead
- Homing shot really needed nerfing, it's decent now, very good to take down heroes/villains from afar.
- Boba Fett's blaster got nerfed? I'm asking because it feels pointless. His rockets are also now beyond pointless.
- Cycler rifle is a joke now, haahhaha. Pulse rifle which you can get far earlier and much cheaper, is a billion times better.
- The scan pulse only shows red dots in a limited radius in the minimap, still very useful, and now more balanced
- Explosive shot got nerfed, not massively though
In all, I'm still liking the game. There may be some things that still need tweaking (fix cycler rifle) but to achieve a perfectly balanced "Everyone is happy" ground is impossible.

Explosives need MUCH longer cooldown. You can't pull out an instant kill nuke out of your pocket every 10 seconds.

+Teemu Hella It's a trait card. Well after testing it a lot I can tell you it's surprisingly effective since you can't get one shot by homing missiles and in CQB you'll often survive grenades if you are not straight on it and have full health. Anyway I still prefer scout to have the jump on your opponent.
Is it Battlefield no its not, I dont think it was ever supposed to be. Having to think back a bit to the days of top trumps but as I remember it all cards had something they could win with meaning that all were OP in one respect. This is where the strategy elements come into play, totally agree about barrage but also love using it the ice caves are perfect for it playing with the arc and bounce effect is fun.
Would I be happier if battlefront was BF but dressed as star wars? Honestly dont know I really like the pick up and play feel of SWBF. If the cards were portrayed as attachments for weapons would that make people happy? Is it the card element folk dont like? .

Bowcaster has been nerfed since the January 2016 update.It no longer one shot kills,u take them Down to about 20 health
Change the wallhack star card to show you everyone on the minimap instead of through walls
lvlcap. what di you think of the ion grenade? i have been using it quite a lot lately and i have very mixed feelings about it.
My favorite star card is the flash grenade and the stinger pistol
People complain about the lack of content and while I wish there was more that doesn't mean it's going to be a bad. I mean look at CS GO, it has only a handful of viable weapons that people actually use and not many maps. They are massively different games but I still think this game will hold up and wont be boring. As far as the price goes, its kinda crazy to charge 60 $. Just get it on G2a or CDKeys
+Andrew Owens Nah. There's TONS of maps in CSGO... but the only ones people play are Dust 1 and 2. So, yeah. There really may as well only be 2 maps.

Did your stormtrooper play for the Red Sox cause he has a freaking good arm. I can't hit my opponent with an impact grenade for shit.
jet pack, scout pistol and a sniper may be a fun loadout or you could have somthing else instead of jetpack.
+yolomcsweg2000 You can't have that combo. One of them has to be a charged star card (if thats what they are called). Those three are all regular star cards.
Question for lvlcap. How quickly do you level up and gain credits? is it quicker than the beta 'cause it took me a few hours just to get to lvl 5

Nothing in this game takes skill, seriously, this is the epitome of couch game. Extremely easy to pick up, next to no skill involved. That doesn't mean its bad, I am still really excited to get my hands on this game, but seriously, every freaking item in this game was made so that a chimpanzee gripping a controller could have a positive kd. I say this because levelcap pointed out the scout pistol involved "skill"

You could still kill people within about a second just with guns like the DLT. Grenades of course were also one hit kills, not to mention the pick ups. The point I was making is that you are going to die extremely fast regardless of the new stuff. At least the most powerful stuff has cool downs.

Someone should try using the Bowcaster as they activate Explosive Shot
Wow... just... wow... All the complaints about too much explosives in BF4 and they still do an insta-kill impact grenade, a burst-fire grenade launcher... all those gadgets that don't have that much of a cooldown. Homing missiles, one shot rifles. People are just gonna abuse the fuck out of these gadgets. I like the idea of utility gadgets like jetpacks or squad shields, but these things are just ridiculous. All of them should be battle pickups with limited charges.

I still think this game has very little content. I'm happy that it's a lot more than in the beta though. I didn't really like the gameplay in the beta. I don't know the specifics of why, it just doesn't feel right. Do you think the game is worth getting in my situation? Or should I hold onto my money and wait for something better? Just Cause 3?

first 2 were nerfed impact does 90 dammge not instant kill but op vs heros and the gernades blow up 2 seconds after and maybe nerfed the range and the pulse cannon is bad because if u move or oponent moves the accuracy GOES WAY OFF redical on them shoots behind them or in front thats why I stoped using it

I don't like the fact that there are so many 1 shot kill star cards. I can see everyone spamming impact grenades, at least make the timer on all of them long so people aren't just spamming the shit out of them.

+The Gargantuan Wombat reduced impact radius I believe as well as knocking damage down to 90. It's basically useless now

This sounds ridiculous, they're already cluttering the game with unnecessary items that basically let you play with your eyes closed. I love that we are getting a Battlefront, but Dice/EA is doing everything in their power to frustrate the majority of played out there who don't want heat seeking infantry rockets, wall hack sonar when we already have an obnoxious mini-map, several different methods of explosive spam, snipers (once again forced into a game that doesn't need sniping), snow-speeder tow cable mini-game, auto-aim assist with flying vehicles including speeder bike, and about 15 other cards that allow for even more player abuse. I can't understand why, much like Battlefield 4 Dice/EA takes the path of implementing mechanics that aggravate the majority of players to the point of love/hate. These developers need a reset, I feel like going back to Vietnam or world war etc. for Battlefield will force them to go back to the basic mechanics that make a game more enjoyable for the majority - thought at this point I feel they'll force just about any cheese-mechanic regardless of the Era and use the usual excuse of "accessibility". What happened to actually using your eyes and ears to find your opponents, hell, what happened to having to ACTUALLY AIM. Here's to hoping this game is not an aggravating mess. Cheers

Like I'll make like 5 different sets, play for a while, turn it off, get back on another time, and none of the star card sets are there!! Everything is just empty!!! CAN ANYONE HELP!!??
