I think living with parents is being pretty normalized as time goes by, renting/buying an apartment or house at an early adult age is getting pretty ridiculous and as long as you're providing for your overall house expenses it's alright and nothing to be ashamed of ❤️

@@thebigstick5540 well I'm not saying stay with your parents up until late 30s, that's why I said early adult age. Obviously you'd want your space for when you have a partner and a family but when you are in your early 20s it really isn't a big issue and shouldn't give into pressure on going to live on your own IF your living conditions are optimal
@@thebigstick5540 like I am going to be 23 and I am broke and honestly why pay for rent when you can live with parents, yeah it can suck and when there is drunk father everyday and other problems but the money that I save and working + studying is pretty hard
as long as you're smart with your finances, ofc I'm not deciding to live with my parents forever but I do my due dilligence when Im staying with them
@thebigstick5540 why not? Ancient people used to livr amongst extended family for their entire lives. Its become "not normal" now with advertising wanting people to move out and soend more money

Keo has graduated (almost?) and he instantly became a finance youtuber. Very cool video, always interesting to get some insights into how others spend money while in college. I always worry that I spend too much but now I see that I actually spend a fairly normal amount of money! Also that student public transport thing, I also cry when I see the date that mine wont work anymore
Me too my average spending in a month is 500€ but if I have many bills to pay the least is 1000€.

Just got back from Hongkong and the prices there is mindblowing. It was so easy to get carried away being a nonlocal, and the more I tried looking for cheap places to eat or shop, the more I realized it's expensive pretty much everywhere lol so kudos to your budgeting and good luck to post-uni life!!!

Not really, plenty of nice local food places are cheap. If u get into local wet markets they often sell full meals for 30-40 HKD, and chain restaurants provide cheap meals as well. Of course the western ones and most of the Michelins are gonna be as expensive as London or NYC

Hi Keo, when I first found your videos I couldn’t relate when you said that driving helps you relax because when I first started, driving was a nightmare for me. Maybe because it was really stressful and I wasn’t very good at it and it made me cry a “few” times. But since then, I have been driving every single day and I became really good at it. Now it helps me destress as well and night time rides are the best because of empty roads and beautiful street lights^^
