@@edstringer1138 They’re easy to replace and there are plenty of aftermarket parts. It’s about preference. I use to shoot a lot (USPSA) and I like the fact I can clean a Glock all the way down to the firing pin out in the field. Try that with a 2011 in fact disassemble a SIG all the way to the firing pin while out in the field?
Ive been looking at videos to find my first handgun, and one thing I noticed is that everyone and everything is compared to the Glock, so I guess my first handgun is gonna be the Glock 19. There’s a reason when everyone is comparing it to it and wants to be better than it.
Better only if you practice with it. I personally shoot so good with my glock why would i change ? My point is the gun isnt as important as practicing with whichever your goingto depend on. A fact newbies need to hear 💪🏻
Glock is a reliable and proven platform and I like them and own a few, but these days you can get as reliable guns with better features out of the box for the same price. At some point Glock is going to have to innovate beyond beyond swapping around slides and frames.
I currently have a Glock 19 gen 5 (non-MOS) while I can say it’s nice but the cheap sights suck and are well cheap, I’ve put so much money into one gun and I’m not even done yet after having it for three years that I could have bought three out of the box better optic ready guns for the price that I have in this one Glock. And I mean lights, holsters, internal parts, trigger upgrade, mag base upgrades, magwell upgrade like damn. Seems never ending at this point I want a gun to be done with. Yes Glock is the most Customizable firearm on the market, but it’s so customizable that it’s never ending and you can really make one Glock super expensive but at the same time more or less waste money because it would have no value to anyone else other than it’s a firearm.
I can do 0.2 second splits and hit the A-zone out to 8 yards. And I can do sub-one-second splits and stay in the C-zone at 70 yards. I've gone 7,200 rounds between cleanings. All with my STOCK Glock G19. No fancy triggers, red dots, stippling, mag releases, mag wells or anything else. I don't need a new gun. You need more practice. If your Glock kicks, learn how to hold it. If it misses, learn how to pull the trigger. Everything else is opinion.
Sure, if I was buying one of these, I’d go for the max mag capacity. But then I ask myself why. In other words, who TF gets into gunfights? And if one is in such an unimaginably rare situation, who needs to shoot more than a few rounds, seriously?

LMAO. I Forgot about Glock 20 years ago. Why are you even comparing these firearms to Glock? Not only are Glocks outdated, but so are you. Nobody talks about Glocks anymore.
Glocks typically have roughly half as many parts as their Sig, H&K CZ, etc. counterparts. As a retired federal LE agent (fortunately before they became woke, corrupt garbage extensions of the deep state), firearms program manager and armorer, I can say from experience that Glock’s basically never break, especially when compared to these other “superior” forearms these people are pushing. Of course there are better ergonomics and triggers out there but, like others here have said, practice makes perfect with whatever weapon of choice, so it comes down to do you trust it with your life every time?

You can’t beat Glock simplicity in cleaning and parts.
Trigger , sights ,recoil . all SUCK ON Glock

When everything is compared to glock
All probably twice the price! Glock is top of the heap
Of course I must confess there’s a lot of good looking pistols out there I like Other brands as well sig can cz shadow two
I will never give up my Glocks.

As soon as you say better than glock, you're not. If you're better, why are you still comparing?

You buy a Glock because of Tyger saying ".. s curiosity manyo gun collection is complete without a Glock'...
Just go out and buy a Glock …then you can focus on other things
why do you have to promote other firearms at the expense of glock? 😢😮
Sig is in a world of its own.
I agree. I would also choose any Canik TTI Combat and CZ Shadow 2 over any Glock.
Sig sucks. So yes you’re correct.

@libertyforever836 they have corrected that with the trigger disconnector. But there are a ton of people that shoot themselves holstering the gun

No doubt must other guys are better. You buy a Glock.. Funny enough due to good marketing..... It money is tight... AG's you NEED a pistol

I do not like Glock! Glock is an unprecise plastic pistol! I love my Walther PDP Steel Frame with 5 inch barrel!
Wrong, no precision issues with Glock, it's the shooter. They are popular because they work.
