@@DJVideso An SD card that had footage of the area, Alaaniwe, and the technically extinct earwing. Her breaking the SD card was her way of letting Alaaniwe and his area remain left alone.

An SCP near my hometown. Alaaniwe translates to "He/She be cursed" When the entity offered the milk and the first person refused to drink that's why it said _Alaaniwe_
What language is it?
@@super0silver_103 It's Swahili, which could mean the SCP does have knowledge on human language, which is maybe why it is uninterested in learning the languages. A theory I have is that it speaks roughly that no one understands it or it merges the languages it learned that no human understands it.

Alaaniwe is just awesome! I love "anomalies" that seek to preserve and protect the natural world.
Yet he kills some humans, which are also a part of the natural world. People may do terrible things, but that doesn't change the fact that we're still just animals like everything else. Technically he's interfering with the natural world to make a version that he finds suitable.
@@Shock_Treatment But unlike animals mankind has the power to unintentionally/intentionally destroy the world. A few lives lost that were perceived as a threat to what Alaaniwe was trying to protect is worth it.

If most of the animals here were declared extinct, then perhaps the bird at 9:16 was Dinornis ("Terrible Bird") which went extinct about 600 years ago, and the striped brown wolves at 9:23 could be Thylacine, or the Tasmanian wolf, which went extinct in 1936.

Tasmanian tigers, not wolves, but yes, they do resemble old photos of them. Truly a pity they were hunted to oblivion. They looked so much more pleasant than Tasmanian devils.
This SCP is like a modern Druid who protects many creatures for his entire life and like any Druid, is a force to be wreckened with
And like any experienced D&D Druid, he is a literal force of Nature when angered.

Alaaniwe in way reminds me of Swamp Thing a guardian of nature. But with animals instead of swampland. And maybe SCP 054 the water nymph could have also been a guardian of nature... before the foundation captured her.
Animals, plants, it doesn't matter. He takes care of them.
This one reminds me of Silent Running, a movie where the last plants and animals from Earth were kept in eco domes aboard commercial spacecraft. The hero was a biologist who cared very deeply for his charges while the ship's crew felt that they were simply earning a paycheck babysitting outdated organisms that humanity had evolved beyond a need for. They would never have had the chance to build their perfect world if the nature they so casually dismissed had not created and supported them, that alone was cause to care for the bits that remained.

As a very nature-centric person, I really wish this one was real. The more you learn about nature, the more you learn about how badly we have destroyed it already and keep destroying it, even when nature tries its best to tell us we're killing it. If anyone ever wants to do something to help nature without it being a major task, try recording wild plants and animals that you see on recording schemes or through sites like iSpotNature. Recording them is part of citizen science and can be used for population models which, in turn, can be pretty handy for figuring out the numbers of things and, sometimes, even how to better conserve them :)
Whoever created this SCP has a true appreciation for Nature. Respect to you, friend.
I hope the foundation is useing this opertunity to lern as much about conservation as posable Alanewae seems like he could teach them a lot

Absolutely beautiful environment design, with all the animals and filling details. It is an amazing new sort of step up from the usual grim SCP facilities.
It's unfortunate for Alaaniwe and the poor white elephant that both the guard and presenter can't seem to posses basic common sense.
It's also nice how peaceful that this SCP truly is. And seems very welcoming, and will only hurt people who break pretty simple to understand rules of Alaaniwe's environment.
I'm glad the woman survived, she looks nice :D

@@ZeoViolet He was a total asshole but, to be fair, being selfish shouldn't be a reason to get brutally murdered. Also, he wanted to plant the fruit, so those plants could potentially be out of endangered territory forever, like any animal and plant we decide to grow to consume.

Well, as of this moment ive finished watching every scp video on this channel. Loved the content.
It is absolutely imperative that we work with the SCP Department of Biological Preserves to establish a set of rules for the preservation and isolation of that land. These creatures require our absence to survive, not our help.
Also, I know the Godzilla 1998 roar when I hear it.
No isolation necessary. The creatures will be fine. Without the SCP exclusion zone more like the poacher would get through to devastate the flora and fauna. The more researchers who wish to do good and help more of the earth become like 5411-0 by learning from it the better. Alaaniwe will take care of the rest.

Dude I love these types of scps. The world ending/murder monster scps are cool and all, but ones like these are just downright interesting.

I really enjoyed this one. I'm glad the scp can also work I harmony with researchers who just want to understand and preserve nature. I'm glad the lady was able to leave. I'm sure it could tell she was simply fascinated and meant no harm. Probably helped she didn't throw a fit when her camera was destroyed.

The Poacher deserved his punishment, but the Presenter didn't. Taking some fruits to make a smoothie shouldn't get you a death sentence.
Also planning to plant those fruits to be useful for humanity would make the plants go out of endangered species immediately. Corn and wheat are very much thriving, for a reason.

Scp-5411 is really cool, expecially because it can use nature as a weapon.
I absolutely love how you add so much detail into your art. It really adds to the story telling.
This Scp must be ancient, maybe a sort of nature God or druid of a tribe of early men. So ancient he speaks a language which has long since been lost to history.
I find it interesting that Alaaniwe is so distraught about the fate of the elephant, considering how, in the article, the elephant’s the reason he got cursed in the first place.

@@nikicrews8430 Yeah, as soon as I also figured out the guy was a poacher, I was like "Well, I hope he doesn't do anything stupid".
So I took it out of the water and tapped it a few times with a few times every 5 minutes when it cane to life I picked it up and tapped it a few times again and put it on the other side I was swimming with one hand and because we were at q pool my vision was blurry so when I picked it up again my hand twitched and I landed on my index finger and I even bought it home to recover on a nearby potted plant near our house and I checked on it a few times and tapped it again and it started flying and it went on another leaf a bit closer to our house and after checking on it a couple times again it flew off probably thankful that I saved it (I'm 12 and the story happened this year)

This scp is both scary and wholesome at the same time. It's awesome. In some cases this dose remind me that there is good in humanity even when we fuck up and want to do right (not counting the poater and lord douche star there lol) in the ending when she destroys the memory chip it gives meaning to even though humanity wants to help nature recover and all that, it shows that sometimes the best way we can help nature is to " simply leave...Nature...the hell...Alone!"
