@0:48 that pier, that I was fishing off of one day, was where I saw my first ever kite surfers. So i got into the sport and moved to Hawai'i..... memories..
i never did the heli tour but i come here 3 times a year, the sand, ocean is just perfect i love it. going again this summer maybe ill do the heli tour this time.
I just took a day trip there from Tennessee and just got back. It was overcast and a little chilly but still a stunning beach, and there were some waves going on too haha. I loved it.
I can only imagine the growth since then. i first went in 1995 and the growth since then has been unbelievable. There are high rise condos everywhere now.
I grew up in PCB, but I haven't been there in fifteen years.. the growth is unbelievable. When I moved there in 1980 there were only three large condos on Thomas Drive. They had just started building Pelican Walk Me and my friends used to build forts in the sand dunes between Thomas Drive and the Gulf. So weird to see how built up it has become.
i remember going back in the late 90s and you could still see the ocean while driving down front beach road. now you might catch a quick glimpse from the road unless your driving by bid a wee beach
Thats the place we are deciding to go on this vacation but my husband won't decide if to go there or myrtle beach I wish we could go to Panama City it looks beautiful
Omg, I love this place. I was there like two days ago, and the hotel I stayed at was the boardwalk. It's the half brown, half blue building you see at 1:28.
If I'm right, that's the little yellow helicopter that kept flying past the condo I stayed in when I was there this year. In this video, you turned around right on top of the condo I stayed in at 3:48.
Wondering how much it cost? I go every year but every time we always wanna do something different!!! And this is definitely one of those things we wanna do!!
@OSMANLI6011 i wanna say it was $90 for like 10 miles. that covers up to three people. the longer the tour the more it cost. not bad if you split it three ways
@egood24 visited PCB for one night back in '88. Stayed in an affordable 'motel" on the beach. Thinking of stopping there on our way to Orlando. What's the $ Range for a room overlooking the beach? Do you have any recommendations? Thanks
You travel a lot faster in the air so that's why it didn't seem like 10 miles I guess. Part of the water was dark because they were drilling in the ground for a new pier.
@indistructable516 when i went it was around $100 for 3 people for a 10 mile ride. I just checked their website and the prices have gone up. there are a few different tours ranging from 5 miles to 36 miles. check them out on the web. panhandlehelicoptertours
when I went to cuba I went to a beach and a wave had got me and I almost drowned luckily a guy saved me thank you who ever saved me!!!!!! god bless you
those bastard dolphins get annoying when you're tryin to fish.....every march my family goes to hurricane cut a.k.a. crooked island to fish for spanish mackerels and they try to steal your fish....it's exciting if you're just visiting but we're locals

@egood24 visited PCB for one night back in '88. Stayed in an affordable 'motel" on the beach. Thinking of stopping there on our way to Orlando. What's the $ Range for a room overlooking the beach? Do you have any recommendations? Thanks

How can you dislike a beach like this? 18 dislikes? I think people just dislike videos all the time for no reason at all (Kids probably).

It's funny I lived in PCB for years and I always wanted to ride the Helicopter but never did it.
