Mixed emotions about this wonderful place! Spent many of spring and summer vacations here. Wanted to move so many times, since I was 14, I'm now 58 and only made it to Pensacola. Close enough, my daughter and her husband now live there so I still have a good reason to visit.
So many summer vacations we spent there during me and my twin brothers elementary and high school years of the 1980s and early 90s. It was always me and twin brother and sister and my mother and my older brothers wife. Some of the older places are still there. Magic mountain mall, captain Anderson restaurant, the water park, miracle strip amusement park, putt putt places, angelos restaurant, go cart rides, playing the arcade games down in the lounge area at the summit beach resort and edge water beach resort. Fun times. 😁. I’m now 48, and still single, so not much has changed for me.
Lived on the east end of the beach and was able to live comfortably delivering pizza for the hut in the 90's. Spring break 96 was my breaking point. Sold the house and moved to the mountains things sure look different but surprised that some of the old places are still there....God bless be safe

OMG!! So many memories on PCB in the late 70's!! The Fountain Bleu Hotel is still there. And Funland!! Alvins Island has been demolished. I used to work at the Pompano restaurant when I was 16yrs old as a set up girl. It was a different name back then. Too many high rise buildings now. Can't see the beach anymore. Great video! Last trip there was late 80's. Unrecognizable .
Lived on Front Beach Road near the "Y" intersection from 1982-1999. Cannot believe the new construction. Hardly recognizable. The 80's and 90's were heaven!!! Memories.....
so sad how much it has changed. I was born in PCB and lived there until early 2000s. The 90s were glorious...back when you could still see the Beach! thanks for the video

When it was really nice was mid 70's until mid 80's. They went nuts with condos beginning mid 80's. We used to rent actual houses on the beach at Laguna and Kiska beach. It was really nice down there then.
Back when shipwreck island waa still there. Lots of great childhood memories of staying at the Porters Court motel until the Hurricane I'm the early 90s wiped it out.
It is sad that they make them so y’all that you can’t see sun

Pray for all the sweet people in Panama city fl. Some of the sweetest people ever♡♡ They are the survivors of the third worst hurricane in history. The city is trying to rebuild and the people are helping each other. Panama city Fl is beautiful with its gorgeous bays. And close proximity to beaches. The people are strong like some of the old oak trees. GOD BLESS Panama City Fl . We love you so much♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡ Come back stronger than ever!!!

I went in July and I’m going back in October. Panama City beach is the best vacation ever. Go down to the beach in the morning then in the afternoon you go to a restraint. It was awsome

Just got back from a condo at Tidewater, absolutely loved condo hated the 30 minute wait on elevator just to get up to our condo. Next time just going to rent a house on beach ⛱ 🙃 will book in winter for summer 🤗🥰

15 minutes west in santa rosa beach you get the great beach without those skyscrapers in your way

I’m glad to see that Fun Land is still going. I stood in line there half an hour once to play a new game called Donkey Kong.
Watched the entire video just to see the 3 story townhome we are staying in next May. Literally the last 5 seconds on the left of the screen. Lol i love driving front beach!
This is sad to me. I remember staying at Edgewater Beach Resort in the late 90's early 2000's. Panama City Beach was crazy. Front beach road was full of cars honking and drunk people hollering until late at night. Granted, I only went during spring break. But I've heard of so many attractions closing. I remember an amusement park, water parks, creative mini golf courses, mazes, and other cool stuff to do. It was like a dream. Now it looks lame. I'll still have to travel back there

I had stayed down here for a week on vacation in 2012. I had a lot of fun! We ate at Pineapple Willy’s and Dick’s Last Resort.

I look at this video almost every day, it looks so beautiful there.
