The Gel NYC in my opinion is the best Asics model for the price. They're super comfy the collabs are great, GRs are super clean and almost every colorway sells out on their site. Foot locker actually has their own exclusive colors sometimes of the Asics "Gel NYC" like the "Indigo" colorway they have right now actually.
I’m glad you made the trip to NYC and checked out the reseller shops. The prices are very typical for those stores. District One i find is the best store out of all the store in NYC, don’t sleep on their preowned shoes.

Went to a Nike outlet in ATL in March and I also saw some LDWaffle Sacai in the blue and purple colourway for under retail too. Just unfortunate it wasn't my size
Take a trip upstate to Woodbury - has arguably best selection of outlets in US and the Nike outlet is DOPE!
