This guy isn’t balanced. In life you most of us draw from being within a group a marriage a family. His voice and intensity are not healthy for Corning relationships. He is studied and observed by certain men that think this is the epitome of manhood “stay hard”. Whiles I get it a lot of it I don’t! Switching off having a laugh chilling out coming home playing with your kids seeing your wife is what most balance humans are about. This man talks all of this but is selling a product hence the podcasts selling his new book. However he doesn’t have a chick or treat to call his own. No children no family no wife. I don’t consider this out purpose on this earth indeed don’t find it healthy at all!

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow-not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below-indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

@@palek555 Damn man I wasted around the same amount of years doing jack sht. Felt absolutely horrible by the end of those years, especially when I compared myself to my friends who had gotten their life together during those precious years I wasted.
That year where all my regrets, procrastinations.. finally came crashing down on me was the worst. I felt suffocated and had cornered myself so badly that it could've been the end.
Fortunately around that exact time I came across people like Jordan Peterson, Jocko Wilink and Goggins.
Their words and the example they hold themselves to, it saved me. I never met them or know how they really are as people in private, but I'll forever be grateful to them.
Since then, these last 3 years I've been on a life resetting journey. Initially all I did was listen to them for hours daily. Trying to change- learn good habits, get rid of the useless ones.
Failed miserably for months. But around a year, a few habits started to stick.
Once that happened, it started to snowball from there. Never looked back!
Man I hope your journey is going great too. I don't know you at all but I truly, sincerely hope you're still on that uphill path. The road never gets easy but it's a relief to know that I'm not the only one.

David Goggins is truly an inspiration to anyone who has ever wanted to push their limits. His incredible story and journey of self-improvement is one that we should all try to follow as closely as possible. He has proven over and over again what the power of determination and dedication can do, even in the face of adversity. His story is one that should motivate us all to never give up on our dreams and goals - no matter how hard they seem. Great stuff Chris!

I did hard things out of trauma and now there is no trauma to drive/motivate. Now is time to dig deeper than I ever have before and drive myself out of pride for those accomplishments, have discipline eat motivation for breakfast, lunch, and mother-fucking dinner! I’m going to push myself for me and my goals and dreams. I will be “the master of my dreams.” Thank you for this episode

I think about all the suffering that David Goggins went thru as a kid and then as an adult through his physical training. I know it was awful for him but he did an amazing thing. He gave all that suffering a purpose by opening himself up to the world and sharing the transformation he went through. To take such an awful thing and turn it into great purpose is tremendous and shows the true strength of character he has. Thank you David Goggins for not falling permanently into a victim mindset but instead modeling for all of us what it means to be a true warrior and a champion. Thank you!

I admire how vulnerable these guys are, digging deep to understand how they felt in the past, freely sharing their emotions, and realizing how and what they were feeling at a certain time, but they would never know nor have a conversation about it if it wasnt for self realization, self growth, and discipline. "there are more interesting conversations about life and how to live it the right way when two people can be in honest and vulnerable but accepting dialogue"

I just went for job interviews, and I even stuttered while being interviewed, but I don't care anymore 'cause I can't let it ruin my life any further. I started to take phone calls. Sometimes, I still stutter over my name and still manage to push through it. I started to do the work, like reading out loud every day. Just a note for people taking up running. It is easy to misconstrue David's messages to mean go out there and push yourself as hard as you can all the time. For running as a beginner this will most likely cause injury. He advocates training by heart rate (which is moderate/easy running) which is widely accepted as the best method (often known as maffetone training). The pushing yourself part is showing up and getting after it almost every day. This will make you a good runner. You have to (for most people) build a base of fitness and strength before doing the harder training.

Seeing these types of crossovers is really promising. This generation has a unique set of trials before us and the likes of Goggins, Peterson, Jocko, and the like are all remarkable sources of light to guide many through these times

For anyone reading this, I hope 2023 is the most PAINFUL year of your life. Sounds depressing, right? But you KNOW by now that pain is the only way to massive progress. So whether it's more job interviews, sales calls, running miles or kilograms lifted... Let's make this the most painful year of our life - Goggins style!
    "I don't stop when I'm tired, I stop when I'm done." - David Goggins

David Goggins has changed my life. I've been fighting life since the day I was born and when I found myself at the eleventh hour I came across a TH-cam video he did, and I immediately went to war with myself. He has inspired me to see my mirror every morning, day, and night, and the brutal honesty about ones self he has shown has become a very important character building moment of my life. We are only worth what we decide we are worth and self talk is a starting point to overcome any and every obstacle in our life's. Thank you so much for giving me a tool to overcome the odds!

"When you go to war with yourself, that is where you find peace." This is why I believe that Goggins has found a form of enlightenment. Siddhartha Gautama could not have said it any better.

I was thinking something similar while watching this. No matter the obstacle, the suffering does not get to him. He has gone beyond that. Its incredible

There is only one Goggins, but his message is for everyone. Chris the interview was monumental, and I agree with Goggins you need to speak up more often about bullying, you are the man to do it. Keep it coming.

What a closing statement. Maybe it's a good thing Goggins rarely ever does podcasts, simply because he can fill in the time between learning new lessons and coming up with new stuff

I have no words, for how much Goggins impacted my life the last two years of my life. Everything that he says and does, makes so much sense in my mind. It clicks so easy.

This man's lessons changed my life at a time I'm was truly on the edge. Truelymlistening to David Goggins first book help my mind get soooo much in order.
His methods won't work for everyone but I pass it on. If your mind is telling you it's too hard, that's when you keep pushing, that's when you don't quit. Own your own mind and become a true savage.
Thank you so much, David, for what you've shared with the world.
