The said thing is that the pickled onion ones have changed the texture it’s more dense not as bubbly like the beef and the spicy ones. Still banging but the flavour is not as strong now
As someone who is English but who is looking to get German citizenship and has lived in Germany for a while, both countries foods are alright. British food is a bit better imo (mainly due to pies and stews as well as deserts), but German food has a lot of good stuff too. I’m also quite surprised by them being shocked about how “intense” the flavour of monster munch is due to the very German affinity for pickled food. At the end of the day Monster Munch is just snack food (so not really worth arguing about) and real food from both countries would absolutely flaw any American “food” in every sense of the word.
My favourite thing about living in Germany was definitely the bread culture. Good quality bread available everywhere very cheap. Nobody eats sliced white bread. In the UK you need to find some artisan baker who really only does sour dough cos they make more from cakes 😂, and it'll cost you 6 quid.

Yeah its not great, and i get it coming from italians or indians etc. But german and american food is genuinely insanely bland and yet somehow still disgusting. Worst food i ever had was american, followed by german.
