Hello and thanks for showing the knife. When closed, it reminds me of a sturdy version of the Real Steel Luna😉 Greetings from Germany, Lars

I like the stonewash, and the way that they strengthened both the clip and the detent seem to be definite improvements on the design. Very nice looking knife, I hope you enjoy carrying that one! Cheers, buddy!

Thanks for the review, I think he’s got it spot on with his latest rendition, on the strength of that I’ve just acquired one. 😁

Still scratching my head at the keen pricing. I enjoyed that review. Where would you place the 'spring' force on this knife, with slipjoints? Thanks.

It's ranked amongst many others on a chart linked in the description, it's quite low on that chart though, stronger than 3 spring slipjoints and tied with 5 others, the same strength as a Kizer Zipslip

@@UKLegalCarryKnives Sweet. I didn't know the chart was there. Thanks man 👍.

I was hoping I could have your thoughts on something: my V1 which I've had for a few weeks feels very stuff to open, often gets stuck mid way (and when I continue to close it feels very dry). The hardware around the pivot also feels loose and moves, and the blade centring is noticeably off. Do you have any advice on how those could be fixed, or should I ask Hoo to do it for me under their guarantee? Thank you!

Ive had all 3 of the versions of these. I sold my first one as I couldnt get on with the pocket clip, but the sharpness on that was the sharpest out of the box. The black version has the strongest detent. The new stonewash one is the best though with the champhering, not quite as sharp as the first one for me, but a quick strop fixed that. Drop me a message if you want a used black version cheap as it is for the channel.

I like the Black version the best Donno why.
And do you know where about I could buy one of those cases yours came in?
Any plans on getting the new terminus?
And the Hinderer Slippy Vs the Boker XS what one do you think is safer?
The Boker looks like it has a deep choil than the Hinderer.
But I won’t say the ones I’ve handled had that sting of a back spring?
(Got told the older all blacks models were really strong, but you can never get them now.)
Also really wanting to try a Civvi.
    And a bladeless tool.
But some of them have locking saw blades and awl which some say isn’t uk legal?

The black one is quite nice, as for the case, you can buy them here: www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001677955246.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.4658b5caRVlD28&algo_pvid=aea43ae0-9e7c-4b21-a7ad-661c0c4afc3e&algo_exp_id=aea43ae0-9e7c-4b21-a7ad-661c0c4afc3e-10&pdp_ext_f=%7B%22sku_id%22%3A%2212000017088404726%22%7D&pdp_npi=2%40dis%21GBP%21%214.49%21%21%211.23%21%21%402100bdde16587831660488591eb102%2112000017088404726%21sea
The hinderer is in my opinion, the better option but it also cost a lot more and is harder to get.
The civivi Appalachian drifter doesn't lock, I would agree that a police officer could very easily make the argument that a locking saw blade or an Awl could be classified as having a sharp point / blade so in my non expert opinion, I'd avoid carrying those if they lock.
