Thank you for taking the time to show some uk legal knifes I was one of the people who asked you if you wouldn't mind doing it it was great to see you actually listen and did it I loved the hoo knife and will be saving to get one thank you very much😊
I'm in England, i've just bought the Hoo V3 Timascus limited edition and I love it. I've also just ordered the V4 gold King Raedwald which i'm looking forward to recieving.
Hey thanks for your comment! Tom over at Notorious usually does drops every month. And I know he'll likely be at Blade Show Atlanta. Thanks for your comment!
Slipjoints for edc uk is ok, you can carry any knife in public locking or fixed blade but you just need a valid good reason for doing so. Sub 3 non locking you can carry without a reason perfectly legal
Thanks for the content and another great video. Being from the UK this was particularly interesting and all of those look like edc knives I would consider so thanks for taking the time to show some non locking knives. I have been considering the Tactile Bexar not sure if you’ve had your hands on one of those as would be interested to hear your opinion. Look forward to more content and keep up the great work.
Hey man! The Bexar is unbelievable quality. I’ve had the Ultem version for a while. If you want a slip joint, it’s one of the best. Thanks for watching!
Hey thanks for the video, I live in Germany so it was perfect for me :) FYI in Germany you are actually allowed to carry locking blades but if the blade locks you must not be able to open it with one hand. Have a great one
Best UK legal knife Ive owned is the now discontinued Benchmade Proper. Love it. I have three, two regular and a safe queen. Honestly, my family goes to mainland Europe regularly and I always just carry a Swiss Army Knife. I carry a Evo 18 in bright, nonthreatening yellow. Its nonlocking and blade length under 3 inches. I carry it in checked luggage and have never had an issue with it. Its been with me to Austria, Czechia, Hungary, even Israel.
Hey great video! Does the Hoo knife snap back if you stab with it? We have a real problem in the UK with XL Bully dogs, and I was looking for some protection if I'm ever attacked by one.
It does not! It requires a bit of force at a pretty specific direction to close. While not locking, I feel like they’ve got a great balance here of a stable blade while deployed and I’ve “stabbed” things like trees and workbenches and such and never had it fold in on me.
@@LandmanEDC No, I was VERY serious, just in a snarky way. I don't care for slipjoints; tip-work can cause them to turn on you, with injurious results. At the very least a slipjoint blade needs a SERIOUS half stop to be considered quasi safe.

@LandmanEDC Wow that's great, thanks for replying to quickly! I'll be sure to use one of your links if I buy one 🙂
@@c_n_b Don’t worry about it - I’m not getting anything from Hoo, just support them anyways!
any 4" non-locking with a blunt end. These are the limitations for Cyprus
Appreciate your info!
Let me know what the three best LOCKING knives are. I value my fingers.
Sure I’ll do that
@@LandmanEDC Thank you for your nice reply to my admittedly snarky comment.
I’m just glad you were being snarky and not actually serious
