screen screws will dance over the mobo after a year of use. Tighten them on time or you are fucked. Had it on 3 asus laptops now.
My friend and I both had this laptop. It was great while it lasted, both of our laptops completely died in a similar fashion. It just stopped turning on. My laptop was super hot after I returned from the bathroom and wouldn't turn on no matter what I did. My friends exact same laptop died in a similar way, but I'm not sure if became warm like mine.
I was able to get the retailer to provide a refund after thankfully and my friend was able to get it sorted with asus warranty with some trouble at first, but it's not very reassuring their "cheaper" laptops are dying identically with manufacture date being months apart from each other seems to be a QA or design issue. Am using a zenbook 14 for now as it was the closest laptop to this one in terms of screen and specs and so far its been great for the past few months with less signs of this being a corner-cut experience. However I won't be buying an asus laptop again if this one fails too.
For how long did u have it? I'm debating getting this for my school I need it to live for atleast 3 or maybe 4 years
Hello, I have a query regarding flickering. Can you switch that laptop into flicker-free mode?

Other vivo books have exhaust vents on sides but this one have them under screen.. During your testing did you find that oled screen to heat up much
I used this laptop for over 2 years, never had any such issue.

what about battery life?
this one doesn’t have a power hungry nvidia graphics card like the others so this one will probably have much better battery life
The battery was pretty adverage. I wouldn't say it was awful, I only needed to charge it once while I used it continuously over about 8 hours but it was hard to tell as I put it on mains power a few times throughout filming for the video and my usage was a little inconsistent compared to normal use. The battery was great though, even on full brightness and constantly playing videos.
