- Hi piggie people! Welcome to The Pig Room! Here on this channel we discuss all things guinea pigs and I show you life on my own 12 pigs.
For todays video, I wanted to film a vlog and show you my morning routine for the pigs and also daily chores. I am in the midst of renovating and changing things around in the pig room and will be doing an official room tour when everything is complete!

Usually they dont bc they cant jump that high but if a pig was a climber and climbed on a hidey or something they could jump over… the remedy is kind of to not put in super climbable stuff if you have one who really likes to jump out. if you dont have that then they arent really able to jump out

There's always one guinea pig with a huge sense of adventure and will find any way to escape 😂

@@godschildanmol1512 yes ! My hamster his name was mobi pronounced “mo-bee” and he was a smart little thing he was a roborovski dwarf hamster and he always found ways to try to escape his cage ! Lol he also looked like a grandpa it was the cutest thing (he passed away a few years ago) but he was a smart lil thing lol
Personally a hamster gal, but I LOVE seeing someone take little lives so seriously and giving the them the best life❤️❤️❤️

yeah i have 2 and already spend a cursed amount of time cleaning up poo and the first thing i thought was how much time it must take. thank god they have fleece liners.
We’ve about 30 and breed them. It’s beautiful to see them all have different colour babies 🥰

I had guinea pigs growing up. All of mine were solo ones because they did not like having a cage mate, but they were spoiled and well loved. Got lots of playtime. My first guinea pigs name was Bob. He was so smart. He loved me . If anyone else was holding him he would just over to me or run across everyone to get to me. My last set 7 years since they passed were girls. Atena Bean and Butters. I got lucky. I had Atena for a year and I put butters right on in and she started cleaning her. Piggies are smart. I taught them how to do circles for treats. Atena Bean was the smartest though. She learned how to unhook the play pen. I won put her in there while cleaning her cage and I would turn around and she would be free. I put her back in and saw how she escaped. They are so social and very smart and loving animals. I miss all the squeaks and popcorning.
I just found your channel and I'm blown away. Your living my dream with a dedicated Piggie room. I have 4 cheeky boys atm. Would be loverly to see a video dedicated to your piggies so we as the viewers can learn more and fall in love with them. Stay cute 😊

First let me say THANK YOU for making this channel. I'm stunned I haven't come across your channel until now BUT our story is, as short as I can, I was at work & although I knew he was adopting a couple, it wasn't until I got home that he had told me about how there had been a pretty big pet mill bust & only 67 of the pets survived WHICH included 11 guinea pigs SO while I was at work, he took our spare bedroom & turned it into a guinea pig oasis & he had his parents help bring them to our home from our SPCA & when I walked into the spare, there were the 11 surviving guinea pigs!!!!!!!! I'm definitely about to do some binge watching BUT I'm already loving your channel just for the 34 seconds I've watched before I paused this to make a comment. THANK YOU for loving your babies so much and I can promise that I won't ever skip watching any ads just because!!!!!!!!!! *=0)

I LOVE Guinea pigs!! I had three as a kid but I havent had Any since. In my apartment now I dont have propper room for a herd but I cannot wait untill I finish university and get a home with space for piggies!!!
The high speed chase at the beginning with the superhero music was the funniest thing I’ve seen all wheek
ha ha 😂 first thing I have to do is give mine some carrots and celery before they even talk to me haha ha ha LOL.
Washing machine tip... put your detergent in first. Or if you have time, fill 1/4 tank water, put in soap, chemicals, agitate water n soap for minute, load washing, set machine usual operation for best results... happy pigs 🐖 💗

I swear Timothy hay is the glitter of the small pet world, lol. It doesn't matter how careful you are, you're always finding more to pick up! We use bedding for our piggies right now, but I'm considering switching to fleece because of my own allergies.

I want to grow up and be just like you! Right now my parents recently got 2 guinea pigs and on the same day, i got my second one!! Now I have 2 guinea pigs and I am ordering fleece, toys, hay net, and a new hide!

I love your cage set ups!!! I feel like adding the third grid in the width really makes the cage feel so much more roomy. And also I love the noodle bath mats! I have switched over to them completely in my cage. They clean so well. Uhh I love your video so much!!! And your one pig with brown and gray agouti.... Whaaaaaaaaaaaat !!!???? Where did he come from! AMAZING!!!
The third grid makes such a difference! Having gone from a 2 width cage to now a 3 width cage, I think the 3 width is a much smarter option to go for. There is much more free roam space in the cage and also allows you to put more accessories.
And those bath mats are the bomb. I only have three right now that I cycle through, but I would love to get more for all of my cages. And my agouti pig, Ashton, is one of my most recent adoptions. Adorable, right?! 😊

Its nice to see you care for your piggies. My piggies like some kale, carrots, lettuce (not iceberg) . Some times I give them some mangos and apples (not the core) sweet potatoe. I also do some cilantro and parsley. I do a little pallets and fresh veggies on top. I thought I would give my food advice. Its good to see you take care of them. Where I live some people drop them off at the base of our mountain or leave them in alleyways. So evil of people to do that. I have 5 boy piggies. I use cloth bedding too. Great video. Thanks

I highly recommend a pet cam in your pet room. Being able to check in and see of everyone is okay and if anyone has escaped is a life saver.

Really enjoyable video, it was nice to see it clean and I have never thought about hanging up the fleece in a wardrobe, that's a good idea
They are getting out because they jump on top of the houses, bunk beds, boxes etc and then jumping over the grids, they could get into the other cages aswell

Make sure you get at least two that will bond and wont breed (ie same sex or at least one neutered/spayed). Guinea pigs are extremely social animals and it is cruel to make them live alone.
