I`m sorry to hear about these stories, unfortunately there are quite a few of them, and they give honest and good Thai women a bad name.
I had a wealthy friend who died of a heart attack....found face down in a pond with a wound on the back of his head, within a week he was in the oven which is sorta quick for farang in Thailand. At the funeral his wife looked like the cat that ate the rat, surrounded by girlfriends all dressed to the nines and smiling. I laughed to myself because I knew he had used lawyers in England and Thailand to protect his wealth.....she was already spending....but the lawyers will tell her she gets nothing😂. I doubt it was a heart attack. NEVER LET ANYONE THINK YOU ARE WORTH MORE DEAD TO THEM THAN ALIVE...ESPECIALLY A THAI BIRD YOU MET IN A BAR .

My boyfriend s friend was in a divorce he told my partner he was selling his house and moving to Thailand,he meta a bar girl and fell in love , he built her a house 2 bedroom 6 months done the line . When the house was all finished she told him she didn’t love him he tried to get his money back but everything was in her name , he was a great guy when haven’t heard a word from him since he moved there
You probably haven't heard from him because he's too embarrassed and not wanting to hear "I told you so"...I know because I have done the same with former close contacts...
There is no factual evidence in this story to suggest poisoning. Susan and her husband probably got sick in Phayao from food they were accustomed to. Brian , as a former policeman , you'd know that this story wouldn't stand up in court . The 92 year old suicide with 2 shots is worth investigating.
Unfortunately there are many story's similar to this one. I was on a flight where a UK retired women teacher was telling about her life in Thailand. She asked if I was single or not. I was single. Best thing she said. Many thai ladies she knew had farang husbands who obviously gave them their good lifestyle. She told me they cannot wait for them to die. So sad that people do this but it isn't just Thailand. In the Bangkok post many years ago an elderly German man was found up issan outside with 2 bullet wounds to his head, a gun beside him, verdict suicide. Maybe same story but I remember this man was found outside near the rice fields and it also said that he had depression. Otherwise the article didn't elaborate.
That was a great story. Lots of lessons to be learned. I think that can happen anywhere, but in a foreign country without a support network it is much more likely for an older person.
life insurance money? just a thought. got nothing to prove it. but when you are in a foreign land and you don't speak the language, and don't know how things work, it's hard to be logical and effective.
She got home and had more time to think about it I’m sure. I think what made her most suspicious what when she showed up the feeling that they were not happy she was there.
Easy to say don’t put house in wife’s name. No other way in Thailand. I did it 9 years ago in BKK. All going great. If it ever was to go to shite my FA told me just walk away and say it was good while it lasted. I can live with that.
Strange relatives IMHO................ I for one if exposed to the same situation would have immediately once well in BKK gone back for my loved one and thrown my heart at him to come home for a while. I would have used any story to get him back. I enjoy the sin thailand offers but every day i feel danger creeping up my back. Autos who refuse to yield at crosswalks, mopeds on sidewalks who drive rt thru you smiling and the cop who needs money but will boldly rob you same as in USA. Yesterday i walked from my hotel and a van driver let his window down and said watch out as he nearly hit me driving past. Thailand is a muddy swamp wrapped in a whore house with girls living /treating foreign men as if it part of disneyland
His daughter needs justice but without powerful people in Thailand to help, she won't see it. Why why why do foreign men not see thru this sorta thing?????? My head hurts for him and his family but this was a red flag from the very beginning. I'm Thai American with a farang husband and we sometimes joke about me owning everything in my name if we bought a home in Thailand...I wonder how many actually have such sad endings like this man.
Just because you move to another country and get married, doesn't mean you should place your mind on vacation. All these stories have a common denominator. These grown men made poor decisions with their finances and the quality of people they surrounded themselves with.

Most importantly, keep your mind sharp and maintain good health. 🙏
Interesting story. I felt safe in Thailand. Honestly your best form of self defense is common sense. Some details sound like he ignored common sense. Although in the province contaminated water or cross contaminated food is more likely than poison. Street food drinking tap water is very risky.
The two shots is something I’ve heard before from ER Doctors and incidents from work. I get the impression it’s especially common if they don’t get the angle right on the first pull on a DA/SA or DAO trigger. Sad circumstance all around.
Its not just Thailand ! its everywhere around the world! Just because people "seem" to be friendly it doesn't mean you can trust them. Especially anything involving money without legal advice.
There is no doubt that his death was "suspicious" and unwarranted BUT guys do the darndest things here. Because someone speaks your language does not mean it is sincere. If you do not speak the language (assumption) this just heightens the problems especially if you end up "in the village". Hallo !

First of all, don't trust in anyone if u don't speak her native language. All hidden nuances can get caught in a conversation. Red flags will be appear in a relationship but if u re blind with love and no reason, you will miss them. Second, never buy a property on the name of girlfriend or wife, prefer to live in a rental house. Third, if u re old, just live ur life far from relationships that most of them will be based on money not genuinely caring an love. Don t be stupid that someone will take care of you in a older age. And last one, nobody gives a shit about you, if u re foreign in any country.

@@masonryjoe I think Thailand is easily number 1

My boyfriend s friend was in a divorce he told my partner he was selling his house and moving to Thailand,he meta a bar girl and fell in love , he built her a house 2 bedroom 6 months done the line . When the house was all finished she told him she didn’t love him he tried to get his money back but everything was in her name , he was a great guy when haven’t heard a word from him since he moved there
You probably haven't heard from him because he's too embarrassed and not wanting to hear "I told you so"...I know because I have done the same with former close contacts...
This has happened here more times than I can count
Hiya....loving the channels. I resonate. One day maybe wud love to break bread. Keep up the good content 👌
Thank you. Appreciate it!!
Great story Brian moral of the story always keep 1 foot ahead of the game ??
Yea. Unfortunately loneliness will make many drop their guard and be easily coerced
Unfortunately this is far too common
That was a great story. Lots of lessons to be learned. I think that can happen anywhere, but in a foreign country without a support network it is much more likely for an older person.
Yea. I think part of the strategy is to get an older gut to an area away from a lot of Farangs
Great job again Greeny!!
you got money to waste welcome to the sin city
what i think rent never buy passport bros
I'm sorry things went the way it did for this guy. Hopefully he gets justice and his daughter gets to find some sort of peace, if at all possible.
No justice. Rarely is there any follow up. Many guys who don’t bit it will walk away from house etc when things get rough.
Have to be careful with your money in Thailand stay single enjoy your life have fun good luck from New Zealand
Sound advice
rest in peace John 🕊️ ❤
I doubt it!
Sad to hear these things happen, o.m.b. bless U Brian. Have a great week buddy 🙏👊
Thanks. You too!
Could happen anywhere - even the USA.
Definitely does.
Thanks for the story !
Appreciate you watching
If the daughter thought they were poisoned, why didn't she see a doctor and get tests done once she left Phayao.
life insurance money? just a thought. got nothing to prove it. but when you are in a foreign land and you don't speak the language, and don't know how things work, it's hard to be logical and effective.
Exactly what I was thinking.
She got home and had more time to think about it I’m sure. I think what made her most suspicious what when she showed up the feeling that they were not happy she was there.
come with values and boundaries and self respect. leave it when it becomes toxic. simple. stand your ground
Bro! Your Lions are killing it this year! I'm a Redskins fan and we're doing pretty good but congrats on beating the Vikings!
Thanks. They are looking good!!
Easy to say don’t put house in wife’s name. No other way in Thailand. I did it 9 years ago in BKK. All going great. If it ever was to go to shite my FA told me just walk away and say it was good while it lasted. I can live with that.
Don’t bring it here if you can’t afford to lose it is what I say
It’s certainly on odd place. Not for everyone.
People don’t jump out of buildings unless their coffee is spiked with yaba.
I wonder if that’s how it happens sometimes
That, pushed and the fact that balconies are slightly lower then in the west, I'm sure that also is a factor
It happens on occasion. Many sad lonely men come here making themselves targets
Sad story, but he was a grown man and should have known better ! 🤷 especially at his age regarding
young tail ! ☝️🤠
He made his bed
Just because you move to another country and get married, doesn't mean you should place your mind on vacation. All these stories have a common denominator. These grown men made poor decisions with their finances and the quality of people they surrounded themselves with.
Very sad story…South East Asia is very nice…but if you are not careful…bad things can happen,
Thank you for this story 👍
Definitely can
This aint the first and wont be the last.... these stories are as common as dirt.
True
Thanks for the story. Seems a chapter in a book you are about to publish 🤔 As always no mention if real or fiction. 😂✌️❣️🇹🇭🎶 you can't lose it if you don't have it 👍
Based on story I was told. But wrote it like a real book story. I will save it. Maybe be start compiling these. Who knows maybe a book. I had to change some things so I don’t get sued
I moved to Thailand and my wife already owned a house. That means no rent. I save a lot of money every month compared to Germany where I paid 1300 € per month. My wife is educated and smart. Stories are different guys.

Regardless of where you are in the world, be on top of your own finances and don't reveal your true wealth. Don't buy property, unless you get it in your own name. If you do get married, then hire a reputable lawyer to get a usufruct on the property. As Greeny suggested, form a circle of close friends and create bonds with people you can trust. Most importantly, keep your mind sharp and maintain good health. 🙏
Great advice.
Interesting story. I felt safe in Thailand. Honestly your best form of self defense is common sense. Some details sound like he ignored common sense. Although in the province contaminated water or cross contaminated food is more likely than poison. Street food drinking tap water is very risky.
Daughter thinks the whole thing was well planned out. His own fault
The two shots is something I’ve heard before from ER Doctors and incidents from work. I get the impression it’s especially common if they don’t get the angle right on the first pull on a DA/SA or DAO trigger. Sad circumstance all around.
Can happen.
Depressing story, thnx🙏
Yea.
Its not just Thailand ! its everywhere around the world! Just because people "seem" to be friendly it doesn't mean you can trust them. Especially anything involving money without legal advice.
Very true
After living here for 17 years, I’m afraid it’s just another hardluck story of which there are many
Too many
A sad story; sadly, not an uncommon one for Thailand.
These stories definitely keep appearing
There is no doubt that his death was "suspicious" and unwarranted BUT guys do the darndest things here. Because someone speaks your language does not mean it is sincere. If you do not speak the language (assumption) this just heightens the problems especially if you end up "in the village". Disclaimer here, I think this "story" could be repeated in just about any country on the planet but far less likely on home ground as intuition will generally tell you "something just ain't right".
Yea. He was naive. Many lonely men are unfortunately. There is a reason why Nigerian catfishers stay in business
Thumbs up 👍 Greeny

In Santa Monica 1982-a 79 years old man killed himself in his new red Eldorado-in a parking lot- one shot in the head-the gun was still attached to his hand-never forget it-when the coroner came he told me this happens alot!
Sad
You never, never crack up over a woman particularly a Thai woman........if you're a real man !
Thats a big piece of paper Greeny 😂😂

Another classic example of the big head being sublimated to the small head.

I'm sure I could tell if my wife was trying to poison me. Like if her cooking suddenly became half way edible I'd definitely become suspicious 😂

Hallo !
Very true. Many rush into things here. Many lonely naive men

Im lucky just about to move to Thailand next month and the two year relationship with daily FaceTime and 4 trips just fell apart apparently lol village girl and working in bkk airport didn't smoke no kids 41 and i got scammed by the kong gane but onky lost a little
Some pros here
When you meet a Thai woman who's 45 and works in a massage shop her future prospects probably weren't great. I think she turned him into her retirement plan.
Yep. Unfortunately that happens here occasionally. I’m sure it happens everywhere. Just more men come here outing themselves in that position, leading with money
Something very similar happened to me and my three brothers, and coincidentally my father is 91 , but it happened over a longer period of time and the woman is also American… her fully functional adult son is living with them , he owned a house here and a condo in Florida which she convinced him to sell her for $1.00 each,..her name is on his bank account and just last month she convinced him to marry her ( he must have never told her he took “ Option A “ on his pension and that his pension dies with him ) I’d like to be a fly on the wall after he passes way, I immediately notify the retirement board and those zeros show up in her bank acct the next month …. Anyway .. I blame it on two colors ….pink and green
These gold diggers are everywhere. Men need to get wise
I think it said he had two bullets left in his gun not two spent bullets at the scene right?
3 left. 2 spent casings
Never tell them everything if u buy a condo just do it in ur name. Never buy a house never
These stories are like a broken record .. So many gullible males who end up in lala land and don’t think with there head .. very sad story indeed 😮
The stories never stop coming
Thai women need to move to Hollywood, they are the best actress in the world.

AS I ALWAYS SAY...MEN START THINKING WITH YOUR BIG HEAD AND NEVER YOUR TINY HEAD!!
That’s a problem
So true in many similar cases you see there greeny
I’ve met a few where red flags started popping immediately. I think some look past them
if this was social security and pensions they should try to stop the payments pending investigation.
I’m sure they did but good luck investigating.
“This is my home now” was his last chance. Sad, sure, but no pity for the fate that came of this decision.
Daughter probably not happy about losing inheritance that way
Old Thai saying, I love you Johnny, no shit
😂
"Build a house", that is a hugh red flag.
Many do it. I’d need to be with someone 15 years or so and would still needed sorted in my favor if things went south
2::30 Finding multiple spent casings inside a revolver is not unusual. 2 spent casings on the floor would create suspicion.
Right. Could have been fired at a different time
So approximately $1 M USD lost
Sounds about right
Same thing happens in the Philippines, my advise do not deal with these ladies, you're risking losing all your money.
Or leave money at home
First red flag was the house, that’s right up there with my buffalo is sick
She saw him coming
First of all, don't trust in anyone if u don't speak her native language. All hidden nuances can get caught in a conversation. Red flags will be appear in a relationship but if u re blind with love and no reason, you will miss them. Second, never buy a property on the name of girlfriend or wife, prefer to live in a rental house. Third, if u re old, just live ur life far from relationships that most of them will be based on money not genuinely caring an love. Don t be stupid that someone will take care of you in a older age. And last one, nobody gives a shit about you, if u re foreign in any country.
Very sound advice
Once the daughter and husband started feeling ill they should have had a full medical check done on the father, including blood tests and and toxicology checks.
You would think but many people get stomach issues. I think she figured all this out after
