A Thai woman, age 35-40 years, no children (or older than 18 years), no (poor) father and mother. A good base to start from.

Her personality shines through. She comes across as a very sweet, caring lady; devoted both to God, and to her profession. I wish her all the best, and I'm sure that she's helped many a foreigner learn Thai.
Thank you for the interview, Greeny. 👍

Another brilliant interview Greeny! Noon is a wonderful soul who is very professional, intelligent ,creative and obviously a very strong young woman. An in depth conversation regarding cross cultural engagements would be interesting considering how influential religion is in both Thai and western cultures and in informing each’s cultural beliefs values attitudes and behaviours.

My wife came to USA and died laughing at the word for fish Coy, a term for penis. Then laughed like crazy at Michael Jackson songs when made sounds hee hee, as hee is a slang word for vagina. My personal favorite, what is written on the door of the men's bathroom? MEN, which in Thai means smells bad, how appropriate 😂 ON a religious note, the 10 commandments, in Thailand they have 5 Moral Precepts: No Lying, No Stealing, No Killing, No Intoxicication, No Sexual Misconduct. A condensed version of the 10 commandments. Last, she seems like a good teacher to learn Thai from, she is willing to alter her class around your personal learning experience. The Greeny Effect! 😮

@GreenyTravels I looked it up, now it's Takoi. Never been there but the pics of the food look good. Perhaps a ladyboy owns it? I don't know, part of that word says koi LOL. 🤪

Brian we’re pushing 60 years old. I might learn a few words in Thai. I wouldn’t waste my time trying to learn Thai. Our Brains aren’t wired to learn an Asian language at our age.
