    Love the side by side comparison. Thanks!

    You need to be testing these at longer ranges. 25, 50, 75, and 100 yards. Then you start getting a better idea of the difference in accuracy. 10 yards is waaaay too close for an accuracy test.
    Also, might be interested in investing in a Ransom Rest. It's around $550 for the rest. But it will allow you to actially test real gun accuracy by removing all human variables.

      It could have a greater effect at more extended distances with better ammo, for my purposes it wasn’t worth it

      @@nickneider3428yes uspsa doesn’t happen at 50-100 yards mostly all at 10-15 really so I agree defs not worth it.

    The Smiths at CGW say the upgrade is only effective past 15 YRDS….and the upgrade is far more durable then stock which starts to warp past 10k rounds if ur shooting at targets 25-40 yrds it does make a noticeable difference.

    it improves accuracy from old worn bushings. Its a replacement and likely the last one you'll ever replace. I like to see factory bushing vs the accu bushing.

    One has to wonder. My box stock P-01 Tac is demonstrably more accurate than a custom 1911 I own. And the 1911 is freakishly accurate. The first 16 shots I fired with the P-01 had 14 shots into one ragged hole at 15 yards off hand!

    Glad I found your video. I have an SP-01 coming and was going to get the CGW barrel bushing along with the MCarbo spring kit and guide rod. Now it’s just going to be the MCarbo products.

    Isn't 10 yards a bit short of a distance to determine how much your accuracy was affected by the bushing? I wonder if the results would be different at 25 yards or so.

    • @nickneider3428
      @nickneider3428  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Perhaps, what distances do you normally shoot pistol at? Problem with going out to 25 is things like projectile consistency, human error etc are magnified. A worthwhile suggestion, I will try to find time to step it out to 25yds

      @@nickneider3428 most of my handgun shooting is at 15-25 yards, but that's because of the rules at the outdoor range I shoot at. They won't let us shoot steel any closer than 15 yards. I think your 10 yard explanation makes sense. Taking the extra variables out should make for a more accurate experiment.

  • @jason200912
    @jason200912 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Your distance is far far too short to view any accuracy differences. Use 50 yards and simply do 4 or 5 shots.
    Do a warm up shot off target just in case the warmth of the barrel helps consistency

  • @caspergibson699
    @caspergibson699 ปีที่แล้ว

    There is an holder made that holds the handgun very rigid. That seems to take out all user error. I believe InRangeTV had a video where they used it on a pistol. I don't know the name but it looked like it was pricey.

  • @JKCullens

    no it doesn't, because they tried to say my brand new CZC Target II needed a bushing and it makes a ragged hole.

    • @jonathanm1854
      @jonathanm1854 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I dont think the higher end CZ's need it. My shadow 2 is stock and shoots stupid accurate... I have a 75b that I havent shot yet, but Im betting it'd probably benefit from the bushing.

  • @chrisyin5662
    @chrisyin5662 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I shoot 50m service match
    With the standard shadow 2, I can get most of my 5 shots group under 6 inches.
    If I am using my 1911, I can get a average 3 inch group.
    How much extra accuracy I can get from this bushing, can you do a long range video in the future? Thanks

    Pistols are always going to be more accurate than the user. I love CZs and 1911s but adding a bushing to aCZ seems a bit gimmicky to me. But, what do I know, not much probably
