Well done. Looks like the real deal. Marshmallow is the nicest one I've seen so far. Every aspect is well thought out and executed with attention to detail. We recently adopted my grandson who is 2&1/2 yo and I still have my son's old Peg Perego Gaucho's FJ40 look alikes from way back. Plan is to repair and get one going for him. We live in Mat Valley AK so long winters with snow is the norm. Have been running tire chains since I learned to drive back in the 60's. Trucks, one ton to semi's and you' were always messing with chains, repairing, extending, widening etc. Fairly easy if you have chain tools. Of course first snow was the end of the ride on's for my son's. So I got some plywood and nails and made a jig. Bought some light weight chain and got busy building a set of chains for both rigs. Had the boys help me put them on and showed them how to take them off & reinstall. They learned how to drive and how to work alone and as a team to accomplish a goal. Customers and family thought that was the coolest thing they'd ever seen. 20 or so years later I think I still have that jig somewhere around the shop. No, I'm a collector not a hoarder. 😉
That is awesome! I'm trying to get on the same track with my daughter. Shes only 2, but I figured I would start her early so she isn't afraid to get her hands dirty and change her own tire or not be afraid to crawl under the truck to change the oil with dad. Thanks for sharing your story!
My Granddaughter has the same jeep, well the factory version. You are one hellva dad!!!!! That is the sickest looking jeep bro. I am absolutely gonna have to do this for my Grandaughter. Awesome job
Im just starting some mods. If this is 100, most vids are at a 5-10. Im trying to do like a 40-50. Small metal frame, polymer or rubber bumper, battery, motor, gearbox, pedal overhaul. What you've done here is some serious work!
That’s a really nice clean build! Idk where you live but where I am there are plenty of parents with plenty of money that would pay big bucks to have stuff like this done..
That is awesome!! Thanks for showing how you did it. I’m super bummed that they no longer make them with the Jeep front grille!! The grill on my son’s is jank! I wish I could find a replacement to make it look like that!
That looks good. I think the outboard lights on the bar might have worked, without hitting her head. Maybe, you could have mounted lights for the outboard units, and some speakers for the inboard units. Maybe, you could then put some woofer speakers in the downfiring slots in the dash, for some bass. Have you considered adding a sound module, like the TBS mini for engine sound?
Hello I just ordered the all the same light bars and the switch you used in this video ....just wondering if you can explain how you wired them up on the Jeep ...don’t want to mess anything up...thank you in advance
nice clean build(: if I can recommend one thing that was cool but I figured out. I got some truck bed lights? there a couple square maybe inch and 1/2 by 1in LED lights that are wired togetherand I was able to place them in the light bar behind the driver's seatthe little plastic covers pop right out you take me inside and put them aside and place those lights right in and it fit well I'm in the process of lifting the same Jeep right now nevertheless I had to buy my son a second one to drive while I'm in the process of this build so I'm sure as time goes by I will be building a second I hope you don't mind me stealing some of your ideas LOL
Love your video so much. Just bought a kids Jeep for my niece (Christmas present shhh). My brother loves to work on things & customize stuff. So the present is a lttlle bit for my brother. But mostly for my niece. Also got some official jeep badging and a 6x3 custom state license plate with her name on it. Have you considered rewiring to 18V. DC? A adjustable voltage stepdown controller and a fast acting 20 amp inline fuse should do the trick for more power.
I have same Jeep I’ve started doing my own mods to for my son. I’m upgrading to bigger gearbox/motors and 20V to use my Dewalt batteries. I noticed you removed the remote control circuitboard... how did you wire up the power to the gear selector switch? I’m stuck on that part currently.
Hello, great video and awesome jeep!!! I have the pink one for my daughter and tried the 12v to 24v switch to make it faster, it did for about 5 minutes and it went fast but I believe it burn out the brain or whatever its called that controls everything. The lights still work but that's all. Is there a way to make this make this one a 24v? I would appreciate the help very much. Thanks.
So the 12v is still slow??? We bought one off ebay. It came with a weelye setup inside. That is for 12v but they put a 6v battery in it. And it doesnt do well in the grass. Hoping to upgrade our 11 month old to a 12v battery.
I have 2 12v 9ah batteries that I have wired in parallel in my nephews ride on top jeep. I have added 2 LED light bars (14” and 7”) as well as 4 LED pod lights and 6 LED eagle eye light bulbs. I have 3 switches to wire these lights to. One is 2 prong switch that came with the wiring harness that I bought and the other two switches are 5 prong switches like the ones you have in the video. I bought 3 wiring harnesses that allows two lights to be hooked up to per switch. My question is how do I power these switches using the 2 12v 9ah batteries that I have to power the jeep that is already wired in parallel to each other?
Dude very nice. I bought the pink one for my niece because every since we got our wrangler she wanted one for herself. I've already upgraded the charger to a system that allows us to use a more universal charging system. This also allowed me to put in a 12v power socket so that can be used to charge other devices. I'm thinking of upgrading the battery system to a lithium ion of some sort. I will for sure be upgrading the lighting system now that I've seen your video. Great Job man that thing looks great. Great video. Thanks.
Thank you very much, I ordered him (2) 7 inch light bars 18w and 4 eagle eyes for the lights and fog lights. I am going to probably but a 10mp fuse inline and I feel that should be fine. Where did you get the chrome studs that you drilled into the wheels and from bumper?
FATHER OF THE YEAR, right there!!! great job!!
Well I guess you win dad of the year award🏅
Great job that looks better than most real jeeps on the road! Lucky girl.
this might just be the most bad-ass thing I've EVER seen....love it!!!
This Daddy loves his daughter. Well done sir! 🍻😊👍

@@MrHgalloway looks cool but youll lose remote control function. Im working on a way to keep all the functionality and upgrade to 18v.
Next time you wanna do a specific cut out with vinyl wrap use 3m knifeless tape

Awesome mods! Can I ask how you made the black trim with metal rivets?
What thickness of plexiglass did you use?
I thought there was actually fox shocks for a second lol
Did you put relays on led’s? I’m curious weather or not to put them on my boys jeep
Bobby waters I did not. Relays take more current than these leds
Bobby waters no problem. The studs are just stainless bolts On ebay.
Yea job well done sir thanks alot
Do u build these and sell them cause i would buy this
I want that...
At night when it's pitch black and all the lights are on it looks like a transformer

Does the remote functionality still work?
