YT content is subjective for sure, but Steve's channel is the most valuable drag-racing channel on YT in terms of information for builders and tuners. Its an engineers paradise. I mean just look at Steve's Devel-16 build. It was insane. AND he provided cooling for a quad turbo 5,000hp v16... too bad the Dubai oil barrens designed the chassis and frame without ever factoring in practicality. There is a reason the Chiron and Veyron are such big cars. And thats ALL cooling.

I was already subscriber to Steve Morris but it was great to see him hit 400,000 subs. Such a nice guy and super talented. Met him at Drag Week a couple times. Now let's see that SMX power Mullet into the 5's!
For anyone who has not subbed to steve yet you should consider it he's a real humble guy. A genuinely nice guy. He would help anyone. He built a engine for my dad 7 or 8 years ago now. The motor still works great making 2k hp. Steve even took us out to buffalo wild wings when we went there to talk to him about what we were going to do with the engine. I've never had that happen anywhere before. Not that the food meant anything it was the fact he took time out of his day to talk with us and get everything right. Its hard to explain what I mean but steve is a good dude. Give him a sub guys!!

Texas speed simply doesn't make engines for the performance level he wants in mullet, not to say they arent incredible engines, because holy shit have they put in some work in his cars. They're hopped-up street car engines, they can handle the abuse, just not the power.

It's awesome to see yall go faster and faster. I'd like to input acquiring different engines and compete to make them faster on budget like yall did that one episode. Like the inline 6 - 4.2L and what not. Give the viewers something to build off of.
Been following Steve for a while well worth the look he is a great guy, i personally do not know other high end builder that shows you behind the seen.

@bradlee scarberry 60? This engine is capable of 70psi reliably. Cleet will get it up in the 80psi range in no time at all and be needing to explore other avenues.

In all honesty, this is probably how he relaxes. I mean yes it's work, but I couldn't picture him wanting to be anywhere else.
Most of the guys I know that are in their 30s don’t don’t work as hard as Sam. The guy is a national treasure.
He is enjoying himself. Who wouldn't want to go hang out at the shop with these guys, turn a few wrenches, be there for the races, and even race a little themselves? Most likely he can just come in when he wants to. It is much better to just go in when you want to and not be really tied to a job.

Yes thats right, although the actual chassis they bought for the jet car, they scrapped and mullet was a second car
You are correct. He was originally going to be a dual motor 427TT with a jet engine on back. After the death of a young racer, cleetus made the decision to steer away from jets and keep with just a single regular motor
