Having watched the great videos Ashley posts i decided he was the man to clean my roof. I contacted him and arranged a date for the work to be done. Great guy who explained exactly how he was going to tackle the job before starting. Once he began he worked constantly for two days until the job was completed. Highly recommend. So pleased with the results and the clean up.Thanks guys 😎👍
The thing I respect most about your roof cleans is that you lean in to the biocide and don't push for the immediate perfect finish like some people. Even if some tough spots get left behind, you'd rather that than damage the surface with high pressure and you let the chemical finish the job gently over time. Great stuff!
Yes, exactly. It doesn’t matter how clean you get it, within a couple of years it will be looking dirty again. So I put emphasis on the importance of regular maintenance as being the best approach.👍🏼
Love watching you do your thing so competently. I noticed several tiles missing. Will the owner be having them replaced soon? My favorite thing to watch is after you’ve cleaned all the surfaces and it looks perfect. Then you rinse and all the dirt and remnants begin to slide down. For some reason I like seeing that. Also, many of the roof cleaners that I’ve watched seem to use very thin biocide which slides off the tiles like water. Your biocide appears much thicker and sticks to the tiles. Am I seeing it correctly?
Yes, if you get the mix right it will foam up and stick to the roof, helping to prevent growth returning. You also don’t want it to run off into the gutter.
Hiya Ash. Great job again. Do you lower your pressure with the unloaded or just turn the revs down? What sort of pressure did you use on this. I’ve got an old roof to do in a few weeks. Ta, Steve
Just about to purchase gx390 15lt 250 bar, just for ground washing and retire me old taskman 150 bar,I'd still shit myself even thinking of doing roof washing, incase of internal water damage hats of to you tho.
@aemackintosh thank you I was just asking General question I'm a painter I'm just trying add a new service to my business and see how much it helps out I rather pressure wash a house than paint it it's more fun
@@specialandroid1603 A build up of moss causes water to be held close to the surface, which when it freezes causes imperfections to crack, which leads to water ingress and damage to other parts of the property structure. A build up of algae and lichen causes the coating of the tiles to deteriorate more quickly. So yeah, cleaning the tiles can actually be pretty useful for maintaining a property in good condition.
Its has raind everyday since the roof was cleaned . no sign of any water ingress anywhere. Think the super alien is talking rubish lol. Thanks again Ashley and Riley top Job 😎👍🍺🥧
If the moss is left it will build up creep under the tiles and when it freezes it will crack the tiles it's common sense They have to be cleaned occasionally....

Nice!😉👍🏼 Don’t tell the others, but I’ve used just about every other method of cleaning a roof, and that’s why I do it the way I do it.
Great job you did there.

Great job man. Love the opening music. Love to know what it’s called
I get the music from the TH-cam audio library.
What’s that little scaffolding setup you have there mate? Cheers
I use an Mi Tower.

The engine is designed to run at full revs so that the oil is churned round to lubricate the moving parts properly.

I’m using a specialist low pressure setup.😉👍🏼
What setup are you using mate ? Can you share a spec or link onnqherento purchase the pole and head ?
How much does it cost
I don’t talk about price on social media.

Super 👌🇫🇷
Bog standard pressure washer with an unloader, nothing special about your set up
Far from it. How do you know how I’ve got it setup anyway?😆
Roofs should not be cleaned.
What? So just let it rot and deteriorate, causing untold damage to other aspects of the property?
@@aemackintosh Roofs don't rot unless there is water ingress which can be the result of cleaning activity.
