Can I ask what jets you use in the mosmatic head, we've a 1100 litre bowser with a yanmar diesel, it's 21lpm, I think its recommending online to use a 065 jet, whatever is in our head now isn't giving a us much lift so I'm thinking the jets aren't sufficient
When you are working on large ceramic roofing tiles (not like this one), is there a possibility that the water "moves" a tile in a certain way that it gets loose/dangerous? (e.g. falling down on someones head)
Can you make a Video on the selling points / reasons for a roof clean ? That would be super nice to know ! I am from Germany we have those wave form tiles mostly. Thanks a lot 👌
Yet another addictive video to watch, thanks. I have a question though, How much washing up liquid do you add to your Biocide? Say using a 5ltr of Biocide set to a 4-1 dose. AND do you give it a stir etc. I follow you and a couple of others and no one has covered this detail. Thanks
Love that you use low pressure to do this As a roofer seen so many roofs absolutely ruined by high pressure jetwashes and people walking all over the roof
Thanks! It’s nice to get some positive feedback from a roofer for once. There are some people out there making a hash of it and ruining it for the rest. It’s more specialist than many people realise.
My roof is Belgian cement fiber flat shingles about 40 to 80 years old. I'm concerned about anyone walking on it. But I'm told the peeling paint on soffits and fascias isn't allowed in the town, and some are above the lower porch roofs. Scaffolding 20 feet high and 20 feet wide is likely expensive. How would A.E. handle this?
I have now put all my best videos and information into my courses to help others in business:

Lovely job! What set up are you using ? Pole & surface cleaner ?
Thanks. I’m using a hi-mod pole with a 12 inch mosmatic.
Great job mate,is that a 12" moss matic of a watertek one?
Only a mosmatic will do.😉👍🏼

Nice job. Lots of roofs with flat tiles like this in your neighborhood? Good for business!
Yeah, quite a few. It’s surprising how many dirty roofs you notice when you start looking around.😉👍🏼
How much is the pole and rotary cleaner set up your using do you sell them
Can I ask what did you quote for a job like that as my roof is similar to this roof
I don’t discuss price here I’m afraid, but if you email me at ashley@aemackintosh.com I can work out a quote for you.👍🏼
Hi Ashley, I sent you a question via your website regarding a roof pole about a week ago, just wondering did you get it? Thanks, Barry
Oh hi Barry. Sorry I missed your email. I get most of my kit from Rutland Pumps.👍🏼
Enjoy your videos. When you say you can recommend a roofer if any problems are revealed, what area of the country are you in? Thanks.
Thanks. I’m in the Northampton area.👍🏼
Great result as usual 🇮🇪
Thanks!👍🏼
Hey lad, been following you guys for some time from Denmark, gotta ask what tools do you use for roof cleaning?
Good job
Thanks.👍🏼
Curious what chemical you use?
DDAC biocide.
Hallo DDAC 50 ?
Hi great video, what do you call the machine that you use for cleaning the tiles.
Pressure washer
Really informative video, you are a true professional! How much did you charge for this job roughly if you don’t mind me asking?
I don’t discuss price on here I’m afraid.

No. I’m using a specialist low pressure setup. It won’t damage the tiles or cause them to become loose.
Can I ask what pole you are using for this job, it looks very rigid?
I’m using a hi-mod carbon fibre pole.

You could always check out my website, or join one of my training courses.

That’s because it is actually against legislation to do that. You shouldn’t mix any chemicals unless directed to on the label.
Love that you use low pressure to do this

Why don't u just change tile u come across alot of broken ones epecialy that style keep spares in van
I’m not getting into that, I don’t go up on the roof, and the tiles are often different colours.
Would of took 5 minutes at most to change that tile and they cost £1.
Doesnt hurt carrying a few in the van.
Yeah, but I’m not going up there to this high ones, and into the corners. Not my job. I prefer to stay on the scaffold.😉
That's not a roof it's a lawn
😆👍🏼
why did you not opt for a scraping method given you knew how delicate the tiles are?
I don’t think scraping is all that gentle really, it’s tedious, it takes longer, and the end result isn’t that great.
