AT is a gateway drug..to IDM. Was listening a lot 5 years ago, but listening to classical music mostly since then. This is the first day Ive listened to more than 4 IDM pieces in a row (and three were by aphex twin). Much love :)
This song makes me think of how everyone around me’s minds are built from countless little child hood memories. Wallpapers, pets, sunsets, car rides, tile floors... all pieced together in a bunch of extensions of the billions of brain stems wandering among us :)
I bet your American, yanks always have some hairy fairy shit to say about some good music, like some of the things they say in the comments sections like theyre living a scene in a movie, fuck talking more dancing....
Just 3 scientists in one lab for 2 and a half hours baking up a new recipe they obtained to create the newest form of a famous product, without their 4th partner who ditched them
@@Ryan-xq3kl Richard has stated in the past he wants to released a Selected Ambient Works 1.5 thats composed of all the material he has that wasn't selected :)
+the_grudge Thank you for being a Tool fan. . . my all-time favorite band! Glad to see someone else who enjoys both the metal and electronic worlds : )
+YarbTheLegend Yeah Tool is definitely my favorite too. Can't wait for a new tour, I missed their last mini tour. Electronic and Metal...and almost everything in between! Cheers!
michael harris idk about a vinyl but you could always download a bunch of his soundloud tracks and burn a cd 🤷♂️ you could even draw a little aphex logo on it :)
I don't think Richard has any inkling how many lives he's still touching with his music. What a remarkable artist.
And the fact that the track name is "nocares" and he give it to us for free is so amazing!
Thanks Solarsands.
This is a song I don't think I'll forget.
My heart melted when he used it for the ending, this song has put me to sleep a lot of times

Pure bliss. So many gems in the soundcloud dump it’s unbelievable. There’s a few good albums in there
Listening to this in '23. Just wanted to compliment you on bringing this now classic track to our attention soon after the SoundCloud dump. Kudos.

Another Aphex Twin classic to add to my backlog. Yay!
This is my favorite Aphex twin song. There’s just something about it that grabs a hold of me and doesn’t let go. I’m using this piece for a movie lol.
Amazing trip

the end of an era...

Listening to AFX's music is like smoking a big ass bong of happy hormones.
That's seems a little bit like a minecraft's music. C418 has really been influenced by Aphex Twin.
nostalgic
I know it's from the soundcloud, but this sounds like it should have came off of Selected Ambient Works 85
inpropagation it is isn't it?
No, every track has its own album
this song has a different sort of feel
tracks on SAW 85-92 all have a disco feel
he might've made it around then for all we know
@Wsp Wax I want to hear Unselected Ambient Works 85 lmao

Sounds like something that would come out of an OP-Z.
(I know it didn't - I've been listening to this song since before that synth came out!)
Could it never end?!!!!!!
Un été caniculaire dans une ville mystérieuse.
Un Aphex Twin subtil.

This sounds like something from Melodies from Mars. This song flows a like liquid.
It’s not over, not over, not over, not over yet
:) that's right
this song makes me feel the way id imagine the Buddha felt
A-fucking-mazing.
