Ralph McTell - The Girl From the Hiring Fair

Here is a lovely moment captured at the 2019 New Forest Folk Festival. You can almost imagine yourself at the edge of the forest, as McTell captures the spirit of the seasonal hiring fair as it comes to town. New stories are made and in nine months new generations are born. Seasons come and go, and those children become the young adults looking for love and work.
