Crasy Kengoru That Intro was the silliest thing i have seen in Dirty bomb, and dodging those bullets to allow teammates kill the opposition, was so brilliant!
Been watching some of your videos. Found you through the Arty video because I wanted to see if he was as underpowered as he seems (he pretty much is, yet you still did really well with him). Then watched this and the laser video, and I'm liking what I see so far. I love the variety, and showing different mercs and stuff.
Shilag Glad you like it! As for arty we are having a crusade for months asking SD to simply change his ability as even if it was good it isnt really fun to use, so far they are only buffing it without changing flawed mechanics but i still hope for the best :)

Yeah, I think the "appeal" for it is just a smaller, more flexible airstrike that you can deploy separately or all at once, with an overall lower cooldown but less damage/aoe.
Which on paper sounds excellent. The problem is that if you so much as touch any "incompatible" terrain while loading it, it completely cancels. So you just have to turn into a sitting duck for 3 seconds while launching them, which is really dumb.
If they just made it so that you aim, press E up to three times where you want, and then you get a single airstrike missile there after 3 seconds, it'd be great. And I honestly don't think that would be overpowered, as long as some sort of marker appears for the enemy as well.
Shilag The way it was made in enemy territory was probably the best, meaning that you first see smoke and then airstrike is coming few(but "casting" it would be instant) seconds later.
It might not kill a ton but it would be fantastic for area denial, but oh well we have what we have.

Its mostly about knowing maps well. Knowing flanking routes, what is your merc good at (like you dont want to be in the open with the shotgun) and keeping track of enemy team is most of the time enough to do good. You also need to know how to position yourself in the way that makes you stronger, depending on what range you prefer.
Long story short, its something that you will get with experience as long as you want to improve and if you think why something work or why it doesnt work.

Hey, can you do another Skyhammer/M4 video? I've seen the older vid but it seems a bit outdated. Also, how does the M4 compare to the Timik?
sluggs10289 Yea its pretty outdated, and a pretty bad round at that (beta weekend so i only had 3 days to get few mercs). I was going to make "my favorite loadout for pubs for merc X" videos so i might start from skyhammer, but not sure when i will get to it.
As for m4 vs timik: Timik have slighly better dps but its not worth it as m4 is way easier to control and use at long range (i find timik almost unusable from long range, especially when you iron sight).

What computer are you playing on?
I'm thinking of getting a Pc for Gaming cause I just play on my work-laptop and shit and it can be laggy when too many people are there.

i5 3550 and gtx 770 at the time, so not very good. I would say that having smooth gameplay helps a lot with aim consistency.
Getting a computer that can hold 120/144 fps with 120/144 hz monitor is a lot more enjoyable than 60fps 60hz gameplay. I didnt test 240hz monitors so i am not sure how much it differ from 144hz monitors.
If you have the budget i would say that its totally worth it to get gaming PC, especially with high refresh rate monitor, it does help with aim consistency and whats more importat it simply makes fps games more enjoyable.
I also miss making youtube videos but there are simply no games i want to play at the moment, sadly high ttk multiplayer games are rare :(. Rogue company looks like it might be something i could enjoy tho.
Just asking but by any chance do you know why execution mode still hasn't been released someone told me that there afraid it might be the main game-mode do know know any information ? :P

I want to main Sparks, but I'm having a hard time getting the hang of the playstyle since it's so all over the place. Do you think she should be played as a solo fragging class or someone that stays with the rest of the team? Her MP's aren't particularly powerful.
Octothorpe She isnt the best at killing so i wouldnt recommend her for solo playing. So far i found her the best at staying at the back of your team ressing and sniping enemy team, and if you are out of position just gtfo (especially that she is great at running away) instead of trying to beat fragger with your MP.
Hexa-Flexa OP Thanks! Also, should the Revivr be the weapon you use primarily, or the MP? Should the Revivr only really be for longer ranges?
Octothorpe In general you should avoid using reviver at close range, aimpunch can screw you really hard when you are getting hit.
The best way to use reviver is to use it when no one is shooting you and its obviously stronger than MP if you can aim well, but like i said the moment you are getting hit its better to switch to MP or just run away :)
i need some tips for sparks :P just got her 30 mins ago and im usually good with vassili in the front line but with sparks i suck :P
+GET REKT I honestly didnt play sparks enough to give valuable tips. I always found her pretty weak combat wise, unless you have godlike twitch aim, which i dont have, so i just try to keep my distance and run away when i am out of position since she is good at that.
Just being a necromancer is probably the best thing you can do for now, untill you get better with her reviver ;p
Can I ask how you got that intro animation? Did you make it, or did some one else.

That Cake is a Pie Yea, there are still servers problems, i can ping up to 220 ping on EU servers for no reason ;(.
I think they didnt expect DB to be this popular at start.
my ping is always around 35-60 in asia server, but the game lag as hell, i even lowed my graphic to the lowest of the lowest but my fps keeps clocking around 40-50 :(. Hard to keep track on target in 1v1

Is the weight a problem for the mouse when you need to flick the mouse to turn?
***** Not for me but it is quite heavy. If you are used to light mouses it might be a problem for you (before that i used g400 which you can feel is quite a bit lighter).
It's really hard for me to get kills and actually preform well in Dirty Bomb because of my terrible computer running the game at the lowest graphics and 20fps...I still try though and the game is great!
Flammula Colei (Fieryballz) Did you try to edit your config ? If not it should still give you enough to have those 50 fps.

Hexa-Flexa OP I really should try this method to make the game run better but I don't want to screw up my already screwed up computer and have the game I really enjoy with my friends be completely unplayable. I'm not the greatest with messing with files even though there's a guide.

Flammula Colei (Fieryballz) Just copy your file before editing, even if you do something wrong you simply overwrite the file. In worst case scenario you can simply reinstall DB, not much of a risk to be fair :).
I guess I'll give it a shot. My game will look like crap but at least it'll be playable.

Sparkz might not be the best at killing or giving health packs (still really good ...), but it's fucking annoying when there is one in the other team, reviving from a distance !! No chance to finish your targets .... May even be a game stoper for me :(
Reveving mechanics need a nerf ASAP ! Revive trains are so annoying (with any Medic) when you need so many bulles to kill anything in the first place, let alone finishing them (100hp wtf ??? ).
There should be a timer to prevent a player from being revived over and over again, especially when the medic is nowhere near his teammate.
Game is great, but "balance team" really need to learn a few things.
Asfodhell Well at least revives did get a nerf with sparks patch and pretty big for that. Revives doesnt bother me now but i wouldnt mind if minimum/maxmimu revive hp was lowered and spark had bigger minimum charge before she can shoot her reviver.
It should get better with time, no reason to drop decent game because of some minor annoyances, old aura/fragger was a lot more annoying :) (fragger still is, just less ;p ).

It was just an outdated icon, no weapon since open beta ever had silencer.
