I have been in construction for over 40 years building custom homes and now a residential door company so know exactly what they were using and trust me when I say that those materials have made that but way overweight. However, it is a nice job.
This brings back fond memories of when we built our camper out of a 1950’s style milk truck. Just enough for my father to take camping for the night. We repurposed everything, an old soda vending machine for the fridge and a propane 2 burner and a lot of creative ideas. My mother made the bunk cushions totally by herself because the bunks were small. I remember helping her stuff polygon into them. All done by hand with minimal hand tools and hard work. That was 1970 and still brings back memories after seeing this. Enjoy your time and your kids will remember this forever

Beautiful camper but LOTS of wood was used, wood on top of wood on top of wood. Lots of 2 x 4s too, usually 2x3s or smaller are used in campers. That bus must be extremely heavy.

А что делать у нас. Первое горючки немерено будет жрать, плюс категория д, плюс коммерческий транспорт за который будут драть. У меня газель категория В, задолбался ругаться с носителями погон. Все мерешется категория В1.
А ещё такая переделка это внесение изменений в конструкцию. То ещё преключение. Опять же вернёмся к моей газели, хотел автобус брать,дешевле стоят. 100км перегон домой потом ещё столько же но уже в область что б снять сиденья и стоимость плюс 55к. У нас только в В1, что б просто В плюс ещё 20ка и гнать в Подмосковье. Вот такое веселье у нас в стране. Поэтому лучше пиво пить и смотреть как чего то люди делают😡
Yep. Even when an RV is designed by professionals you still get things that crack over time. Tile should never be used. Should have been a flexible shower surround. That tile will probably fall right off the first time this thing flexes over some crappy camp Ground trail.
I always admire those flat-front school buses, so seeing one turn into a mobile home is really cool. Im impressed they fit a whole bathroom in that bus too
And not very well planned, either; The tiles will be on the floor after it goes over the first railroad crossing. Looks like they did it to sell it and don't care how long it lasts.
Your bus looks great except for one thing, when you put the sheet metal on the sides, I think it would of been better to start at the back and overlap your sheet metal panels going forward that way when you’re driving in the rain, it won’t get under the panels even with the panels sealed with silicone. That’s my two cents worth. But great bus!

I watched this couple from the very beginning on their TH-cam Chanell. They are a wonderful family! He is an amazing carpenter. They have been traveling as he sometimes stops to work but otherwise they are giving their kids an amazing upbringing. And she homeschools them. She is very serious about the kids getting educated. Their channel is Life Anywhere. I really enjoy them although they do not have a regular schedule when they post videos.
да и правильно сделают, какое же это транспортное средство, первое и самое главное - это то, что гипсокартон развалится от скручивающих нагрузок на кузов автомобиля, там 12 метров длина рамы и между колесами метров 9 точно, при движении однозначно будут скрипеть все деревянные соединения, а гипсокартон и плитка отвалятся, там всё держится на профильной трубе. короче это не ездок, это так, поставить на пеньки под мостом задним и под передней осью, чтоб не качался при ходьбе внутри, во дворе и использовать как доп метры жилья
i dont think you should drive the bus anymore, there is a reason why every vehicle goes thru a crash test before going on the market, the structural integrity of the bus is gone, any accident might destroy the whole bus, also a school bus is that high for a reason, there are lot of places that this bus can't go. park it in the back yard as an extra room
Yeah, I was about to make a similar comment. It looks like a prison transport bus of sorts, It needs some motif type artwork or a wrap to break up that awful colour.
Amazing the design, skills, and problem solving of this very talented coupled. Does not look like a motor home, nor a camping trailer, but a home on wheels, really enjoyed this watching the project.

It all looks like old 70s style design build on a really tight budget. Meticulous is not a word I would use with this build.

And no home made junk allowed.
